Under tree shade

"We live under the shadow of a tree, a giant one, with forks growing in all directions..."

I suppose in the past someone must have sacrificed in some way for us. It is remarkable that we are the product of a remote event where surely many obstacles, barriers and disagreements had to be fought in order to break through.

It is enough to ask ourselves: Who are we? and we will already know that the fact transcends the simple reality of having been born, even the steps we take to move forward comply with some preconceived prototype. Our ancestors, they conditioned their reality with a view to the distant future, perhaps, as a personal goal or perhaps because that is what life consists of and everything else is added.

When I study the events that occurred during the last years of my life I see the relationship they have with my childhood, that projection of ideas and feelings directed towards what is to come was a constant desire suggested by the noble mind of a child. It is easy to claim some profession or the longing of a dream, to say with ease what you wanted to have without even thinking about the sacrifice that would imply to obtain it.

I believe that at some time my most distant relative must have done the same; people who are beyond our comprehension because of the antiquity of those times, a whole genealogical tree overturned on us, intertwining events from which we come and we are the shadow of the first-born. Someone with qualities, with undoubted love for life, an extremely sincere being who sowed a seed and left his dreams in the hands of the time traveler.

To my thinking, living consists in following the proposed path, that which leads us to fill the soul and strengthen the spirit with the purest idea that can be of our occurrence. Something similar to drinking a glass of water only half full because we know that just like us someone else will need to drink and the vital liquid is measured in drops.

Others live with a deserted heart, they forget humility, the need to create spaces for good. Otherwise, when someone looks back, he will not find the foundations for edification, he will not know anything about himself, nor will he find a place where to put his family and the children who will inherit the promised paradise.

Yes, we are facing a great challenge; but we know that life is like that and it is in charge of fulfilling a perfect cycle. Only with love we will fill the space, only love is what we need, there will be no more emptiness in our journey, we will advance towards where the steps arrive.

The challenge is for humans, something we have already won and we must face it because we are the thinking being, who dominates the four cardinal points.

We live under the shade of a tree, a tree that made our dreams possible and led us to where we are now. We must make the work concrete, finish what we once began; thinking of the new generation that will grow under the shade that we now provide...
