Hello Hive
Is this seen everywhere around the world? Certainly not
Kulikuli with an English name as peanut bars/balls depending on the shape is commonly seen in Nigeria and Ghana
This is exactly how not every grain or crop can be planted everywhere.
Groundnuts are very common here and this is one of the process this protenious grain is converted into food for human consumption.
Kuli a crunchy snack is gotten after the groundnut oil has been pressed out of the grains.
The process involves that the dried groundnut grain is roasted over medium flame.
At the mill this is blended and poured onto another spinning machine that presses and removes the oil, warm water is added at interval that reacts with the grounded pudding to give out the oil.
The final stage is where we get the kuli here.
The grounded nut after removing the oil can be mixed with spices and shaped as desires before deep frying in its own oil.
We have the local populace manufacture this for the community.
Kuli can be made into soup or eaten with garden eggs like I often do.
I hope you will get to enjoy some of our Kuli if you come across them.
