We are still in the festive celebration and Salah mood here.
I believe that as humans we shouldn't be bias when it comes to religion.
Celebrate with whoever is celebrating and share with one another the contagious unending joy
We work so hard and pray for success and promotions at work.
But it won't be a bad idea to sit back and appreciate the almighty and controller of the universe who makes all of our lives journey possible.
Except if you do not to believe in God, you would be the controller of your life and be accountable to no one.
The sacrificial lamb from each household is usually sacrificed after calling the name of Allah and the meat is prepared and shared between households.
The Muslims extended this joy and love to the christians and we join to eat, drink and share in the joy of celebration.
We had a round the chair celebration with food drinks and snacks from our male host, I was surprised that a guy can cook and the food could be that delicious.
Male cooks and chefs aren't common around and it amazes me whenever I come around a guy that can cook.
Series of activities went round.
We watched two nollywood movies together, had lengthy chats around marriage and our social lives before the guys played football games on the lab top while good gossips went round for the ladies....
It was quite a Sallah Celebration.
And I pray that we will live to celebrate more of this.
