Greetings friends today I share with you this beautiful tour through the streets of my town, it turns out that since I have use of reason every October 4 at dawn comes a musical group to the town to sing birthday to the patron saint of the community, which is San Francisco de Asis, I'm not really extremely religious, I believe in God, in that divine force that moves the world, therefore rather than point out in this article the religious I want to show part of the popular culture of this place.
First a group of locals prepare the saint, clean him, put flowers, all this in order to walk him around the village on his birthday, thanking him for the favors granted, this year was very different from the previous ones, I did not remember that it was the day of the saint, because I was just arriving that day to my new house, in the wee hours of the morning I hear the sound of music just in front of my window, at that moment I wake up my daughter to see the event that takes place once a year, she thought they were welcoming her to the town with a serenade.
At that time I explain what happens, I invite her to make the tour, so we quickly cleaned up and went to the street, it was very gratifying to see so many people fulfilling the tradition of many years, trying not to crowd by the covid-19, some well very few actually used mouth covers, while singing through the streets people stood up offered them alcoholic beverages, coffee and even breakfast to attendees in the form of thanks for celebrating the birthday to the saint.
It was very nice to walk the streets at dawn, even without sunrise, I felt safe, see how everyone in one way or another collaborate to not fail to fulfill this tradition, shows that in the union is the strength, I commented one of the organizers that it was very difficult the whole issue of logistics, because of the lack of gasoline or its high cost no one can do the favor of going out of town to buy flowers for example, so the costs this year doubled, but fortunately it was done and everyone enjoyed, especially my daughter felt that somehow she was welcomed to her new home.

Recorrido por las calles de San Francisco de Cara
Saludos amigos hoy les comparto este hermoso recorrido por las calles de mi pueblo, resulta que desde tengo uso de razón todos los 4 de octubre en la madrugada llega un grupo musical al pueblo para cantarle cumpleaños al Santo patrono de la comunidad, el cual es San Francisco de Asís, realmente no soy extremadamente religiosa, creo en Dios, en esa fuerza divina que mueve el mundo, por lo tanto más que señalar en este artículo lo religioso quiero mostrar parte de la cultura popular de este lugar.
Primeramente un grupo de lugareños preparan al santo, lo limpian, le colocan flores, todo esto con la finalidad de pasearlo por todo el pueblo el día de su cumpleaños, agradeciéndole por los favores concedidos, este año fue muy diferente a los anteriores, yo no recordaba que era día del santo, pues estaba justo llegando ese día a mi nueva casa, en plena madrugada escucho el sonido de la música justo al frente de mi ventana, en ese momento despierto a mi hija para que vea el evento que se realiza una vez al año, ella pensó que le estaban dando la bienvenida al pueblo con una serenata.
En ese momento le explico lo que sucede, la invito hacer el recorrido, así que rápidamente nos aseamos y nos fuimos a la calle, fue muy gratificante ver tanta gente cumpliendo con la tradición de muchos años, tratando de no aglomerarse por el covid-19, algunos bueno muy pocos realmente usaban tapa bocas, mientras cantaban por las calles la gente se levantaba les ofrecían bebidas alcohólicas, café y hasta desayuno a los asistentes en forma de agradecimiento por celebrarle el cumpleaños al santo.
Fue muy rico recorrer sus calles de madrugada, aun sin salir el sol, me sentí segura, ver como todos de uno u otra manera colaboran para no dejar de cumplir esta tradición, demuestra que en la unión esta la fuerza, me comentaba una de las organizadoras que fue muy difícil todo el tema de la logística, por la fala de gasolina o su alto costo nadie puede hacer el favor de salir del pueblo a comprar flores por ejemplo, así que los costos de este año se duplicaron, pero afortunadamente se logro hacer y todos disfrutaron, en especial mi hija sintió que de alguna manera le daban la bienvenida a su nuevo hogar.
