Actualmente, el estado Zulia ha registrado el mayor número de casos comunitarios, ocupa el primer lugar en la lista con 1857 casos positivos y más de 15 defunciones. Así lo anunció el gobernador del Zulia Omar Prietro durante el habitual balance diario de la Comisión Presidencial para el Control y Prevención del COVID-19. Por ello, advirtió que de seguir el aumento de contagios no incluirá al estado Zulia en las semanas de flexibilidad y que serán solo semanas radicales si es necesario.

El área de emergencia del Hospital Universitario de Maracaibo está en una emergencia, sin recursos, colapsada con pacientes infectados por Covid, no hay camillas, no hay suministros de oxígeno, ni insumos médicos suficientes que puedan abastecer a la población.

Nuestro equipo de seguiridad consta de doble bata, doble tapabocas, mascarillas, lentes, cubrebocas, guantes, botas, abrigo impermeable, alcohol y antibacterial.
