Hola amigos! Extrañaba demasiado hablar por aquí. Lo siento mucho por el tiempo que estuve ausente, estuve de vacaciones y pues decidí desconectarme un poco del trabajo y las redes sociales aparte el cambio de horario era un poco drástico ya que eran 6 horas más que aquí en Venezuela pero hoy estoy de vuelta con muchas energías y con ganas de compartirles esta aventura y otras cosas más.
Les cuento, este viaje decidí realizarlo para desconectarme un momento de todo y con el fin de pensar en realidad qué era lo que quería para mi y mi futuro.
Hello friends! I missed talking around here too much. I am very sorry for the time I was absent, I was on vacation and as I decided to disconnect a bit from work and social networks, apart from the time change was a bit drastic since it was 6 hours more than here in Venezuela but today I am back with lots of energy and wanting to share this adventure and other things with you.
I tell you, I decided to take this trip to disconnect for a moment from everything and in order to really think about what I wanted for myself and my future.
Decidí realizar mis cortas vacaciones en España específicamente en Madrid, no les miento el comienzo de esta travesía fue un poco estresante ya que para viajar a algún país de la Unión Europea piden ciertos requisitos para entrar sin problemas los cuales trate de hacerlos un mes antes para evitar algún tipo de inconveniente (Carnet de vacunación, prueba PCR negativa, formulario de salud, reserva de hotel, boletos de ida y vuelta y el efectivo necesario) No obstante el vuelo que tenía programado me fue cancelado el mismo día, lo cual me genero cierto estrés y un nivel de ansiedad elevado que no le deseo a nadie ya que iba vía al aeropuerto de Maiquetia, con toda mi frustración tuve que devolverme, meter el reclamo, pedir el reembolso del dinero y comprar otro ticket de avión con otra aerolínea.
I decided to make my short vacation in Spain specifically in Madrid, I am not lying to you, the beginning of this journey was a bit stressful since to travel to a country of the European Union they ask for certain requirements to enter without problems which I try to do a month before to not avoiding some kind of inconvenience (vaccination card, negative PCR test, health form, hotel reservation, roundtrip tickets and the necessary cash) However, the flight I had scheduled was canceled the same day, which I generate some stress and a high level of anxiety that I do not wish on anyone since I was going to the Maiquetia airport, with all my frustration I had to return, file the claim, request a refund of the money and buy another plane ticket with another airline.
Afortunadamente logré conseguir una fecha disponible cercana para mis vacaciones. El vuelo fue súper agotador ya que para llegar España de Venezuela son literalmente 2 días viajando en avión, hicimos una escala de 2 horas en el aeropuerto de Estambul el cual es súper grande y bellísimo.
Fortunately, I managed to get a close available date for my vacation. The flight was super tiring since to get to Spain from Venezuela it is literally 2 days traveling by plane, we made a 2 hour stopover at the Istanbul airport which is super big and beautiful.
Gracias a dios llegué súper bien al aeropuerto de Barajas en Madrid y pues me estaba esperando mi prima para comenzar mi aventura en España. Lo primero que conocí fueron las calles más actuales de Madrid ya que es un país en donde prevalecen las estructuras y edificaciones antiguas. Lo primero que conocí fue La Gran Vía de Madrid es una de las principales calles de la ciudad española de Madrid Comienza en la Calle de Alcalá y termina en la Plaza mayor de España, está calle también es conocida y muy famosa por sus cines, teatros musicales y por numerosas tiendas internacionales de moda por lo cual también entra a sus alrededores La plaza de Callao.
Thank God I arrived super well at the Barajas airport in Madrid and my cousin was waiting for me to start my adventure in Spain. The first thing I knew were the most current streets of Madrid since it is a country where old structures and buildings prevail. The first thing I knew was La Gran Vía de Madrid is one of the main streets of the Spanish city of Madrid It begins in Calle de Alcalá and ends in the Plaza Mayor of Spain, this street is also known and very famous for its cinemas, theaters musicals and numerous international fashion stores, which is why La Plaza de Callao also enters its surroundings.
También visite un parque súper conocido en Madrid llamado Parque del Retiro o parque del Buen Retiro, popularmente conocido como El Retiro. Es un jardín histórico y parque público situado en Madrid Considerado como una de las principales atracciones turísticas de la ciudad.
Also visit a super known park in Madrid called Parque del Retiro or Parque del Buen Retiro, popularly known as El Retiro. It is a historical garden and public park located in Madrid Considered one of the main tourist attractions in the city.
No podía irme sin visitar las calles de Sol ya que es el corazón de Madrid. La plaza de la Puerta del Sol es uno de los emblemas de Madrid, constituyen varias de las calles históricas y más transitadas de la ciudad. En mi caso visité en la plaza la estatua del Oso y el Madroño, muy querida por los madrileños y popular punto de encuentro que representa los elementos del escudo de la ciudad, muchas personas dicen que no te puedes ir sin visitar la estatua del oso, otras dicen que si la tocas te traerá mucha suerte y fortuna. Obviamente está demás decir que yo si la toque😅.
I couldn't leave without visiting the streets of Sol since it is the heart of Madrid. The Puerta del Sol square is one of the emblems of Madrid, they constitute several of the historic and busiest streets in the city. In my case, I visited the statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree in the square, very loved by the people of Madrid and a popular meeting point that represents the elements of the city's coat of arms, many people say that you cannot leave without visiting the bear statue, others say that if you touch it it will bring you a lot of luck and fortune. Obviously it goes without saying that I did touch her😅.
Siempre me ha llamado la atención la parte de la realeza tanto en Inglaterra como en españa así que decidí visitar el palacio real de Madrid. Este palacio es la residencia oficial del Jefe del Estado, o en su caso el rey de España; no obstante, los actuales reyes no habitan en él, para mi suerte no estaba abierto al público así que me tome fotos por fuera de igual quede encantada.
I have always been struck by royalty in both England and Spain, so I decided to visit the royal palace in Madrid. This palace is the official residence of the Head of State, or in his case the King of Spain; However, the current kings do not inhabit it, luckily it was not open to the public so I took photos outside of it, I was still enchanted.
Por último visite el Castillo de Manzanares en la sierra de Madrid cabe destacar que es uno de los más populares y mejor conservado qué hay en esa zona. También visite la ciudad de Segovia que se encuentra al noroeste de Madrid sin duda una belleza y un lugar en el cual se respiraba mucha tranquilidad. Logre visitar las calles de Segovia, los pantanos, la iglesia de San Martin, el castillo real de san ildefonso y el Acueducto de Segovia que es considerado la obra de ingeniería civil romana más importante de España, y es uno de los monumentos más significativos y mejor conservados.
Finally, visit the Castle of Manzanares in the Sierra de Madrid, it should be noted that it is one of the most popular and best preserved in that area. Also visit the city of Segovia, which is located northwest of Madrid, without a doubt a beauty and a place in which a lot of tranquility was breathed. Visit the streets of Segovia, the marshes, the church of San Martin, the royal castle of San Ildefonso and the Aqueduct of Segovia, which is considered the most important work of Roman civil engineering in Spain, and is one of the most significant monuments and better preserved.
Creo que me extendí un poco en este post pero mi fin es que cuando ustedes lo lean y observen las fotos se adentren a lo que fue mi aventura en este hermoso país. Sin duda alguna puedo decir que quede enamorada de Madrid y que me gustaría volver, lastimosamente por motivos de tiempo tuve que regresarme a planificar mi siguiente viaje por ende me falto visitar muchísimas cosas y otras ciudades que quería conocer, cómo Toledo, Málaga, Valencia, Tenerife y Barcelona pero estoy segura que regresaré muy pronto y cumpliré con esos pendientes.
I think I expanded a bit in this post but my goal is that when you read it and look at the photos, you enter what my adventure was in this beautiful country. Without a doubt I can say that I fell in love with Madrid and that I would like to return, unfortunately for reasons of time I had to go back to plan my next trip, therefore I missed visiting many things and other cities that I wanted to know, such as Toledo, Malaga, Valencia, Tenerife and Barcelona but I am sure that I will return very soon and fulfill those pending.
