As you have probably noticed with our daily surf reports of Lobitos, Peru, that we are firmly embracing the opportunity that Hive can bring to this local coastal community in the long-term. The core oppportunity is to create a local fund based on Bitcoin and other digital assets that are collected via Proof of Brain mining of the Hive blockchain. The local fund will be dedicated to meeting the needs of the local community.
This workspace is dedicated to those who wish to learn more and get involved in the blockchain world. As of now there are three accounts based out of here: @mocha15 , @lobitos and @intrepidsurfer .
Curruntly , all post, interest, curation, etc. rewards of this account (@lobitos) are to be used in the accumulation of Bitcoin. Surf report videos or specialized posts give 25% of it's rewards towards the actual content creator. The remaining 75% go towards Bitcoin accumulation for the Lobitos Crypto Fund. This is a long-term project that also aims to reskill and retool locals for the 21st Century digital economy.
We intend to elaborate our vision and strategies with more posts in the future.
