Hola amigos de la comunidad GEMS, mi publicación de hoy, restaurando un viejo libro de lectura que perdió su portada por el uso, un valioso obsequio que le dieron a mi hijo Ramses.

Tomé algunos materiales del cajón de reciclaje, cartones, pegamento, una etiqueta y una bolsa de regalos que ya estaba rota por el uso, corte la mejor parte y cortando dos cuadrados, saque las dos tapas para cubrir el cuerpo del libro.
I took some materials from the recycling bin, cardboard, glue, a tag and a gift bag that was already torn from use, cut the best part and cutting two squares, took out the two covers to cover the body of the book.
Una vez que corte las tapas delantera y trasera, corte un trozo cartulina de color amarillo y saque un listón para sujetar las tapas y reposar el lomo del libro, aplique pegamento blanco y lo deje secar por unas horas.
Once you cut the front and back covers, cut a piece of yellow cardboard and take out a ribbon to hold the covers and rest the spine of the book, apply white glue and let it dry for a few hours.
Este pequeño libro era de un primo que lo dejo de usar hace unos 6 años aproximadamente, y la abuela lo tenia guardado desde entonces, hasta ahora que se lo regalo a Ramses para que se inicie en el proceso de lectura, y mi niño lo recibió con mucho cariño, pero no tenía portada así que hoy restaure con materiales de reciclaje.
This little book was from a cousin who stopped using it about 6 years ago, and the grandmother had kept it since then, until now that she gave it to Ramses to start the reading process, and my child received it. with love, but it had no cover so today I restored with recycling materials.
Para darle el toque final, pegué un par de etiquetas para identificar la parte delantera, la etiqueta de un helicóptero y la identificación de mi hijo.
Este será el primer libro de lectura de mi hijo, estoy segura que será de mucho provecho, tiene un gran valor sentimental para mí, puesto que este libro tiene la edad de mi hijo, y pensar que la abuela lo halla guardado para él lo hace muy especial.
To add the finishing touch, I attached a couple of labels to identify the front end, a helicopter label, and my son's ID.
This will be my son's first reading book, I am sure it will be very useful, it has great sentimental value for me, since this book is the age of my son, and to think that the grandmother has saved it for him makes it special.
