#1: "Araguaney", Juan A. Borgen (2021)

Since May 29, 1948, by decree of the president and novelist Romulo Gallegos, the araguaney (Tabebuia Chrysanta) was consecrated as the national tree of Venezuela. One day while talking with my girlfriend, we got a very interesting post about the indigenous legend of Venezuela concerning this tree, to our surprise the names of the characters of this legend (The princess Araguaney, Tiquire the love of Araguaney and son of the cacique of the rival tribe, Guaracarima. I will leave the legend at the end of the post) coincide with the name of the place where my girlfriend Tiquire lives, in the state of Aragua. Investigating further we found out that the geographic location attributed to this legend is where we live.

#2: "Día Amarillo" Juan A. Borgen (2021)

Days later, already with a new panorama in our memory, we came across this beautiful tree, an Araguaney in Tiquire. Curious isn't it? we have years living there, it is rare to realize how little we can know about something, which make up a very important element of our culture, even having it in front of our eyes.

I must clarify that my favorite color is yellow and my favorite tree is undoubtedly the Araguaney, so my girlfriend and I decided to spend some time outdoors and have fun taking pictures for a moment with this beautiful being.

#3 - 4: "My Favorite Things" Juan A. Borgen (2021)

After this everything was quiet, a great pause for all that is lived. It is curious all that can fill us with love to know something in depth, to be informed not only complements the intellect, but also the depth of our souls when we come to understand what reflects the knowledge of us, because to know is not only to know, is to contemplate and appreciate more fully.

"Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
Yeah, they were all yellow"

"Mira las estrellas
Mira cómo brillan para ti
Y todo lo que haces
Sí, todas eran amarillas"

"Yellow" By: Coldplay.

All the things
that fill the world with light
are between yellow and you,
between the sky and the root of a tree,
between the wind and the flight of the flower,
between love and death,
between legend and reality.

Of all the beautiful things:
the contrast of my yellow and your blue.
