Recently I shared the drawing process of the mother queen from my upcoming comic series about a bee hive, as well as a couple of panels. It's about a community of bees that soon will experience great changes with the arrival of a new queen. I hope you like the process of creating the third panel of the comic.
Recientemente compartí el proceso de dibujo de la reina madre de mi próxima serie de comics sobre una colmena de abejas, y un par de paneles del mismo. Se trata de una comunidad de abejas que pronto experimentará grandes cambios con la llegada de una nueva reina. Espero te guste el proceso de creación del tercer panel del comic.
I used the following materials and tools:
- HP Photosmart C3180 Scanner
- Desktop PC
- Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Software
Los materiales y herramientas usados fueron los siguientes:

This illustration was made directly on the PC, so there are no hand-drawn sketches as in past occasions. I also used an image I drew previously as a reference. I traced the outline of the drawing with the pencil tool on a new layer, the result is shown below.
Esta ilustración fue realizada directamente en la PC, por lo tanto no hay bocetos hechos a mano como en ocasiones anteriores. Además usé como referencia una imagen que dibujé anteriormente. Tracé el contorno del dibujo con la herramienta lápiz en una capa nueva, el resultado se muestra a continuación.
Then I added color to the illustration.
