"The best trip of our life", that is what my friends and I repeat to ourselves, a trip that we did not take long to plan and that will be a memory for our whole life, but let's start from the beginning, this trip was thanks to our friend José who is the one who lives in Medellín and who convinced me to go and spend a few days there with my sister @esthefanychacin and me, and we convinced our friends Wilkins and @keritroberts.
Mi hermana y yo estábamos en Santa Marta, así que desde allí tomamos un vuelo a Medellín donde José nos estaba esperando, por otro lado y Wilkins y Kerit tomaron su vuelo al día siguiente desde Cucuta y nosotras estábamos ese día muy ansiosas porque llegaran, ya queríamos estar allí en esta hermosa ciudad compartiendo con ellos.
My sister and I were in Santa Marta, so from there we took a flight to Medellín where José was waiting for us, on the other hand and Wilkins and Kerit took their flight the next day from Cucuta and we were very anxious that day for them to arrive. we wanted to be there in this beautiful city sharing with them.
Wilkins y Kerit tardaron un poco en llegar, porque se quedaron en una estación que no era, así que tuvieron que caminar mucho, y mi hermana y yo moríamos de hambre, pero los estábamos esperando para comer juntos y eso hicimos, por supuesto ellos primero organizaron sus cosas en el hostal y luego fuimos caminando a buscar un sitio para comer.
Wilkins and Kerit took a while to arrive, because they stayed in a station that was not, so they had to walk a lot, and my sister and I were starving, but we were waiting for them to eat together and we did, of course they first They organized their things at the hostel and then we walked to find a place to eat.
Después de ver en varios sitios, nos decidimos por uno que nos había recomendado José donde el almuerzo nos costó 10.500 pesos colombianos y venia con jugo, estaba bueno, aunque pudo ser mejor. Una vez terminamos de comer, nos quedamos conversando un rato sentados, organizando algunas ideas y repitiéndonos que no veníamos a Medellín a descansar, así que fuimos caminando a un centro comercial a comprar algo para salir a bailar esa noche.
After looking at various places, we decided on one that José had recommended to us, where lunch cost us 10,500 Colombian pesos and it came with juice, it was good, although it could have been better. Once we finished eating, we sat talking for a while, organizing some ideas and repeating that we were not coming to Medellín to rest, so we walked to a shopping center to buy something to go out to dance that night.
Fuimos al centro comercial Santafé, allí caminamos un buen rato, entramos a varias tiendas, nos medimos un par de cosas y nos hicimos muchas fotos locas, es que eso es lo mejor de nuestro equipo, que juntos podemos ser nosotros y hacer locuras sin importar que nos vean o lo que piensen los demás, total allí en Medellín no nos conocen jajaja y eso es lo que siempre nos repetíamos.
We went to the Santafé shopping center, there we walked for a long time, we went to several stores, we measured a couple of things and took a lot of crazy photos, that's the best of our team, that together we can be us and do crazy things no matter That they see us or what others think, total there in Medellín they don't know us hahaha and that's what we always repeated to ourselves.
Luego de medirnos varias camisas, al fin decidimos una para cada una, y mientras unos se median otros esperábamos afuera haciéndonos fotos jajaja. Después fuimos a casa a descansar un poco y a organizar las ideas para la noche, donde por supuesto todos nos dividimos a hacer algo diferente, pero eso también pasa en los viajes en grupo y no está mal, lo importante es recordar que llegamos allí juntos y que compartiremos algunos planes juntos.
After measuring several shirts, we finally decided one for each one, and while some mediated, others waited outside taking pictures hahaha. Then we went home to rest a bit and organize our ideas for the night, where of course we all divided to do something different, but that also happens in group trips and it is not bad, the important thing is to remember that we got there together and that we will share some plans together.
Esthefany fue con José a un plan diferente con amigos de él, Wilkins fue con su amiga de Medellín a cenar y por otro lado Kerit y yo salimos a tomar algo con nuestro amigo El Canadiense, la verdad fue una noche divertida a pesar de que todos nos dividimos a hacer cosas diferentes, pero nos amamos y fue el mejor viaje de nuestra vida juntos (por ahora) y esperamos que se repita. Así que les recomiendo viajar con amigos, con sus amigos de verdad, amigos que los entiendan y que amen estar locos por vivir. Saludos!
Esthefany went with José to a different plan with friends of his, Wilkins went with his friend from Medellín to dinner and on the other hand Kerit and I went out for a drink with our friend El Canadiense, the truth was a fun night even though everyone we divided to do different things, but we loved each other and it was the best trip of our life together (so far) and we hope it will be repeated.
