We don't like farewells, but our vacations in Santa Marta, Colombia were over, so we had to arrange everything to travel, but to Medellín in Colombia also where we plan to stay a couple of days also to get to know.
Nuestro vuelo era en a las 9 de la noche, pero la salida del hotel era a la una, así que no teníamos muchos planes, solo estar en el hotel hasta la una para luego ir al aeropuerto a pasar el monton de horas allí aburridas hasta el vuelo, pero nuestro amigo Benjamín el dueño del hotel nos llevó a dar una vuelta antes de viajar.
Our flight was at 9 at night, but the departure from the hotel was at one, so we did not have many plans, just being at the hotel until one and then going to the airport to spend a lot of boring hours there until the flight, but our friend Benjamin the owner of the hotel took us for a walk before traveling.
Fuimos con él, primero a un centro comercial llamado arrecife, donde nos invitó a tomar un jugo delicioso, luego de un par de minutos allí hablando y conversando, fuimos a acompañarlo a comprar el almuerzo para él y su familia y nosotros pero nosotras aún no teniamos hambre, así que decidimos no comer.
We went with him, first to a shopping center called reef, where he invited us to have a delicious juice, after a couple of minutes there talking and chatting, we went to accompany him to buy lunch for him and his family and us but we still haven't We were hungry, so we decided not to eat.
Lo acompañamos a él a comprar los almuerzos y luego volvimos al hotel para que él y su familia comiera, después de allí venía la parte más triste donde él nos llevaba a dar un último paseo en su carro por las calles y playas de Santa Marta.
We accompanied him to buy lunch and then we returned to the hotel for him and his family to eat, after that came the saddest part where he would take us for a last ride in his car through the streets and beaches of Santa Marta.
Benjamín fue muy amable, siempre lo fué, y realmente mi hermana y yo somos muy bendecidas al encontrar personas así en nuestro camino, fue una agradable conversación y agradable paseo por la playa Salguero, y esperamos volver algún día a Santa Marta y conocer más lugares increíbles.
Benjamin was very kind, he always was, and really my sister and I are very blessed to meet people like that on our way, it was a nice conversation and a pleasant walk along the Salguero beach, and we hope to return to Santa Marta one day and see more places. incredible.
Finalmente él nos llevó al aeropuerto y fue bueno porque nos ahorró el dinero del taxi jajajaja, y aunque aún era muy temprano ya queriamos estar en el aeropuerto para sentirnos más cerca de Medellín donde ya queriamos estar y desde donde estoy escribiendo este post.
Finally he took us to the airport and it was good because he saved us the taxi money hahahaha, and although it was still very early since we wanted to be at the airport to feel closer to Medellín where we already wanted to be and from where I am writing this post.
En el aeropuerto solo pusimos a cargar nuestros celulares y a conversar, además también decidimos comer algo porque ya teniamos hambre y aún así seguia siendo temprano, lo que amamos de este aeropuerto es que aún desde allí podías seguir viendo el mar.
At the airport we just started to charge our cell phones and talk, we also decided to eat something because we were already hungry and even so it was still early, what we love about this airport is that even from there you could continue to see the sea.
Faltando una hora para nuestro vuelo, decidimos pasar seguridad e ir a las puertas de embarque, allí nos encontramos con un amigo Canadiense que conocimos por tinder en Santa Marta y quien es muy genial también, además su español es muy bueno y nos invitó a tomar un jugo también luego de conversar un rato.
With an hour to go for our flight, we decided to go through security and go to the boarding gates, there we met a Canadian friend we met on tinder in Santa Marta and who is very cool too, also his Spanish is very good and he invited us to have a drink. a juice also after talking for a while.
Él espera venir a Medellín el fin de semana también y tal vez pasemos otro momento agradable con él, a mi hermana y a mí nos encanta conocer gente, pero ya debiamos tomar nuestro vuelo, y mi hermana estaba muy feliz porque por primera vez le tocó el puesto de la ventana. El vuelo tomó una hora aproximadamente, pero nuestro amigo José estaba aquí esperandonos con una deliciosa pizza.
He hopes to come to Medellín for the weekend as well and maybe we will spend another pleasant moment with him, my sister and I love meeting people, but we should already take our flight, and my sister was very happy because for the first time she got the window stand. Tardamos 45 aproximadamente en llegar al Poblado dónde vive nuestro amigo José, pero realmente valen la pena, es que les cuento que el aeropuerto queda retirado de Medellín, basicamente en Río Negro, pero aquí estamos muy felices.
