¡Hola Chicos!
El día de hoy les presento mi entrada para la misión semanal ofrecida por el equipo de @qurator. Para la participación de la semana pasada quedé corta de tiempo y esta semana iba por el mismo camino (me siento terrible por esto 😟). Pero como dice el dicho: "Mejor tarde que nunca", y pues aquí estoy trayéndoles esta pintura que hice con café instantáneo, pues la misión de la semana era pintar sin pintura.
Mi fascinación por las pinturas con café vienen de hace mucho tiempo y hace varios meses intenté hacerlo, pero los resultados se aprecian mucho más con café instantáneo y en casa solo conseguimos comprar el que se hace normal, colado.
Para esta misión lo primero que se me vino en mente fue pintar con café y algo relacionado con mi esposo, ya que esta pronto a cumplir años y quiero hacerle muchos detalles especiales ♥.
Recordé este viejo sobre de café que me regaló cuando nos conocimos. Nunca lo usé solo lo conservé como un bonito recuerdo en mi caja especial. Lo tengo desde hace 10 años guardado ahí.

Today I present my entry for the weekly mission offered by the @qurator team. For last week's participation I was short of time and this week I was going the same way (I feel terrible about this 😟). But as the saying goes: 'Better late than never', and here I am bringing you this painting that I did with instant coffee, because the mission of the week was to paint without paint.
My fascination for paintings with coffee dates back a long time and several months ago I tried to do it, but the results are much more appreciated with instant coffee and at home we only manage to buy the one that is made normal, strained.
For this mission, the first thing that came to mind was painting with coffee and something related to my husband, since he is soon to have his birthday and I want to give him many special details ♥.
I remembered this old coffee envelope that he gave me when we first met. I never used it, I just kept it as a nice keepsake in my special box. I have kept it there for 10 years.
Obviamente ya no lo puedo tomar, pero esto no significa que no lo puedo utilizar, y hoy ha sido la tinta que daría vida a esta pequeña obra.
He preparado un pequeño recipiente con un poco de agua al que agregue un poco del café, que estaba super compactado y seco, pero al tocar el agua comenzó a diluir.
Por otro lado con el café que aún estaba deshidratado daría detalles más oscuros en mi pintura.
Obviously I can't take it anymore, but this doesn't mean that I can't use it, and today it was the ink that would give life to this little work.
I have prepared a small container with a little water to which I add a little of the coffee, which was super compacted and dry, but when I touched the water it began to dilute.
On the other hand, with the coffee that was still dehydrated, it would give darker details in my painting.
Con un lápiz, tracé una línea guía para tener un límite en mi obra. Luego, con pequeñas pinceladas fui trazando el rostro de mi esposo. Quise hacerlo lo más realista posible, aunque pintar así no da mucho margen de error, hice mi mayor esfuerzo.
With a pencil, I drew a guide line to have a limit in my work. Then, with small brushstrokes, I traced my husband's face. I wanted to make it as realistic as possible, although painting like this doesn't give much room for error, I did my best.
Hice la mitad de su rostro y una especie de estela de humo de cigarrillo para el fondo. Ya en este punto estaba lista para dar detalles más oscuros y profundos. Pintar con café es igual que pintar en acuarelas, podemos ir pintando capa sobre capa para darle mayor detalle y profundidad a la pintura, solo que quedará en un solo color marrón, con diferentes tonalidades.
I did half his face and a kind of cigarette smoke trail for the background. By this point she was ready to go into deeper and darker details. Painting with coffee is the same as painting in watercolors, we can go painting layer by layer to give more detail and depth to the painting, only that it will be in a single brown color, with different shades.
Así quedó mi pintura. Fue bien entretenido pintar con café, aunque no soy experta con esta técnica, siento que me ha quedado muy bien. Obviamente pienso pintar más cosas con el café que quedó así que pronto les estaré trayendo más de mis pinturas "aromáticas".
Porque no es solo pintar, es disfrutar de ese rico aroma mientras lo haces. ♥
This is how my painting turned out. Painting with coffee was very entertaining, although I am not an expert with this technique, I feel that it has turned out very well. Obviously I plan to paint more things with the coffee that was left so soon I will be bringing you more of my 'aromatic' paintings.
Because it is not just painting, it is enjoying that rich aroma while you do it. ♥
