Tigers are running fast. So also with the four tigers in Asia. These countries are South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong. And the economic growth there is running faster than many other places.
We can measure the progress and the wealth of nations by doing different things in the national states. And this is true both for countries with capitalism and countries with socialism. The increase in the gross national product or the changes in gross national product from time to time, has something to do with ecnomic growth. And in addition to this, the firms should for profitability in the long run. And there should be productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness there.
Every firm in the private business life in different countries must achieve more revenuens than the whole business implies of costs. Sometimes the costs are out of control, or they are moving too fast, but we should always encourage high sales, and we should be cynical and have the costs under control.
We are also using the concept «The four tigers» due to the fact that these countries are strong like the tiger. And these countries are also hefty dealers. The Asian crisis in 1997 affected these economies to varying degrees. South Korea was hardest affected, and Taiwan and Singapore came relatively unharmed from the turbulent period. In some countries, there are problems with the cyclical difficulties, and sometimes business is ok, and sometimes it causes trouble.
The four tigers in Asia had a steady growth in the period 1960s to 1990s. They had a yearly growth on 7 % in this period, and this rapid and high economic growth was due to the industrialization. Hence, any national economy in the world, is depending on what you do, and why and how the effects are as they are. Any planning can be done by the government, the parliament or the leaders in the firms, and the best thing is that there is freedom and democracy where we are moving us.
So, there is always dynamic and static conditions in any national economy. We should be there with all the details in the life, and we can chat and write about anything in relation to the freedom we have different places. But some regimes have too much control and too hard freedom of speech, and we should be in the places where we can use our talents and knowledges without consequences. And the world is about being rich and also having enough power. The development is recognized if the economic indicators are right and excellent, and destroying the communities with too little thoughts and too much conservative thinking, should never be welcome in open and in curious societies.
So, could you find yourself in all this planning and all this implementation in the nations? Yes, you can! A society is always consisting with humans, and all humans have the same value. But we should be engaged with competence and research, and a new search can always be done billions of times. And we get the same results and/or different results when doing it due to the social measurement. Several people have travelled through all times on the earth, and they have opened the channels to international trade. We can mention persons like Christofer Columbus, Ferdinand Magellan, Vasco da Gama and Zheng He. And they world was open, as it is today, and we should be engaged with free trade, production orientation, consumer orientations and globalization. There are rich and poor economies in the world, and we should work for them and getting them better and even stronger. And as a human you should follow your free nature, and the individual upbringing should be in accordance with talents and knowledges that you have. If we are making too many borders and restrictions that are not logical, we can destroy humans and the best development we can think about. That is also according to the great philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau!
