Sin lugar a dudas no hay nada más venezolano que una arepa. Creo que es nuestra comida favorita y la podemos rellenar con tantas cosas; como pollo, carne, pescado, queso, mariscos entre otros.
Without a doubt, there is nothing more Venezuelan than an arepa. I think it is our favorite food and we can fill it with so many things; such as chicken, meat, fish, cheese, seafood among others.
La verdad es que con la dieta estricta que estoy cumpliendo son tantas las cosas que no puedo comer. Pero si puedo comer arepas mientras que no sean fritas. Hoy para la cena mi mamá y yo decidimos preparar unas arepas con pollo es algo bastante fácil de hacer pero sobre todo muy deliciosas.
The truth is that with the strict diet that I am complying with, there are so many things that I cannot eat. But I can eat arepas as long as they are not fried. Today for dinner my mother and I decided to prepare some arepas with chicken, it is something quite easy to do but above all very delicious.
Lo primero que hicimos fue cocinar el pollo con bastante agua y al agua le colocamos cebolla, pimenton y cilantro y luego este caldo que queda lo utilizaremos para guisar el pollo. Eate mismo lo vamos a esmechar muy bien.
The first thing we did was cook the chicken with plenty of water and add onion, paprika and coriander to the water and then we will use this remaining broth to cook the chicken. Read yourself we are going to refine it very well.
Luego por otro lado vamos a picar cebolla, pimentón, cilantro y celery con esto vamos a condimentar el pollo.

Luego de tener todo esto picado colocamos a calentar el caldo que hicimos antes y cuando este caliente vamos a colocar lo que picamos antes y el pollo y lo dejamos cocinar bien. Agregamos un poco de sal y ya nuestro pollo estará listo para rellenar nuestras arepas.
After having all this chopped, we put the broth that we made before to heat and when it is hot we will put what we chopped before and the chicken and let it cook well. We add a little salt and our chicken will be ready to fill our arepas.
