Hare Island is a territory that was conquered from the Swedes. Peter 1 built a fortress on this territory. The date of foundation of the fortress is 1703. This fortress is called Peter and Paul Fortress. The history of the city of St. Petersburg began from this place.
The fortress was built in the form of an island. I call the island Hare.
Attractions of the island:
Nevsky Gates, Petrovsky Gates, Flag Tower, Ioannovsky Gates, Commandant's House, Trubetskoy Bastion Prison, Main building of the Mint. Other.

Заячий остров это территория которую отвоевали у шведов. Петр 1 построил на этой территории крепость. Дата основания крепости 1703 год. Эту крепость называют Петропавловская. С этого места началась история города Санкт-Петербурга.
Крепость построили в виде острова. Остров называю Заячий.
Достопримечательности острова:
Невские ворота, Петровские ворота, Флагшточная башня, Иоанновские ворота, Комендантский дом, Тюрьма Трубецкого бастиона, Главный корпус Монетного двора. И другие.
