Ayer volví a la finca de mi novia. Esta vez, no iba con la sola intención de pasear por los naranjos, porque mi meta era hacer algo distinto, algo que tenía que ver con caballos, sí ¡Caballos! Jajaja. ¿Y a que va todo esto? Seguro dirán ustedes. Bueno, es que mi novia, o sus padres, crían caballos y siempre me invitan a dar una cabalgata, pero yo nunca me animo porque me da miedo quedar en silla de ruedas. Esta vez me dije: “sea como sea, montaré un caballo” Pues ya estaba harto de perderme lo divertido de pasear como esos jinetes de las películas de vaqueros… ¿Y adivinen quién al fin lo logró? XD
Yesterday I went back to my girlfriend's farm. This time, I was not going with the sole intention of walking through the orange trees, because my goal was to do something different, something that had to do with horses, yes, Horses! LOL. And what is this all about? Sure you say. Well, my girlfriend, or her parents, raise horses and they always invite me to go for a ride, but I never cheer up because I'm afraid of being in a wheelchair. This time I said to myself: "Anyway, I'll ride a horse" Well, I was sick of missing the fun of riding like those horsemen in the cowboy movies ... And guess who finally made it? XD

Últimamente estoy pasando por ese transe de: “hazlo ahora o no lo harás nunca” Si señores, en esta vida tenemos una sola oportunidad para ser felices, aunque a veces debamos desafiarnos para hacerlo. ¿Entienden la idea? Es como cuando eres cantante pero te dan miedo los micrófonos; ¿Cómo piensas cantar si lo primero que te lo impide es tu pavor? Fue algo que me dije a mi mismo, claro que en vez de micrófonos eran caballos, y en vez de cantantes eran “nuevas experiencias”.
Lately I am going through that transe of: "do it now or you will never do it" Yes gentlemen, in this life we have only one opportunity to be happy, although sometimes we must challenge ourselves to do it. Do you get the idea? It's like when you're a singer but the microphones scare you; How do you plan to sing if the first thing that stops you is your fear? It was something that I said to myself, of course that instead of microphones they were horses, and instead of singers they were “new experiences”.
Es decir, como podemos temerle a algo si ni siquiera lo hemos probado. Es como la regla de las comidas; algunas se ven asquerosas, pero cuando les das una probada tu paladar se maravilla tanto que esa suposición quedará en el olvido. No podemos vivir “suponiendo cosas”. Quizás sea una clase de “excusa” para no dar ese paso fundamental. Para los que aún no entienden a donde quiero llegar con todo esto, lo sintetizaré en la siguiente frase:

¿Y qué es eso de “aventurero de la vida”? Digamos que aquella persona que busca experiencias nuevas, y no me refiero a andar por ahí haciendo cosas tontas, como conducir a altas velocidades. ¡Para nada! Las nuevas experiencias no implican riesgos mortales que puedan mandarte con San Pedro antes de tiempo, sino que te ayudan a encontrar algo más de felicidad, ya sea en un recorrido en bicicletas, o tal vez escalar montañas, o quizás viajar a grandes paisajes, o montar Caballos XD.
And what is that "adventurer of life"? Let's say that person who is looking for new experiences, and I do not mean walking around doing silly things, like driving at high speeds. Not at all! New experiences do not involve deadly risks that can send you to San Pedro ahead of time, but rather help you find some more happiness, be it on a bike tour, or perhaps mountain climbing, or perhaps traveling to great landscapes, or riding Horses XD.

Así que, sin ánimos de poner más excusas y anhelando tener experiencias nuevas y gratificantes, me subí a la silla de montar y dije: ¡Corre como el viento tiro al blanco! Jajaja. Bueno no fue así realmente porque :
So, not wanting to make any more excuses and yearning for new and rewarding experiences, I climbed into the saddle and said: Run like the wind I shoot a target! LOL. Well it wasn't really like that because:
- No me sabía el nombre del caballo
I did not know the name of the horse
2 Porque estaba temblando como gelatina.
Because I was shaking like jelly.
Entonces moví las riendas y el caballo avanzó, cabalgando a paso lento, sin ánimos de darme un buen susto con una inesperada carrera. Fue divertido, en serio. Me aterraba halar las riendas así que solo las dejé ahí, en la calma del paso a paso XD. Y cuando el reto estuvo cumplido, me cambié de atuendo y me puse a cocinar algunas arepas. Ese fue el segundo reto del día XD.
Then I moved the reins and the horse moved forward, riding at a slow pace, not in the mood to give me a good scare with an unexpected run. It was fun, seriously. I was terrified of pulling the reins so I just left them there, in the calm of step by step XD. And when the challenge was met, I changed my outfit and started cooking some arepas. That was the second challenge of the day XD.

Así que, ya más relajado, puedo decir que estoy en ese punto sin retorno de “la búsqueda de nuevas experiencias”, ¡Así somos los aventureros! Además, todos es por la felicidad, y la virtud de haber disfrutado esta gran oportunidad a la que llamamos “vida”. Después de todo solo tenemos una, entonces solo me queda decirte:
