Sigamos corriendo.

Normalizing the bad
Stretching should be part of every workout, althoght it rarely is. It always passes as the least necessary part of the session, as a luxury that we only give ourselves when we have the energy or time left; But like any luxury, we rarely give it to ourselves.
Because itâs a luxury, we get used to not having it and convince ourselves that we donât need it.
Lack of stretching always increases the risk of injury because a contracted muscle has a shorter range of motion and when we set out to use it in a very wide range without proper preparation, we get hurt.
Then we think that weâre too old, that thatâs only for the athletic elite or that the sport is too dangerous. And thatâs how we live, normalizing a sedentary lifestyle in one way or another.
Letâs keep running
Countless injuries that could have been prevented with a little stretching continue to occur week after week.
This message is addressed to the entire #HiveRun community, but mainly to those who do it for more than a hobby, those who really have serious and solid goals for their health and performance.
Letâs stop risking wasting the main effort, just to save a little time, letâs do our full stretches before and after each workout so that none are the last. Letâs keep running.
