Hi friends of Hive and the Sound Music community, I'm Fernando from @fernanblog, for this Friday night and as Halloween is approaching, I bring you a guitar cover of one of the most influential artists in metal since early 2000. A few weeks ago I presented you a cover of a song from his latest album; this time I will play one of the most aggressive and heavy songs from his 4th studio album called "Holy wood: In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death". It is worth mentioning that this album is one of the most controversial of the singer since he made it as revenge towards those who blamed him for the Columbine massacre in 1999.
The song I am going to play is called "The Love Song", what a title for a song that is totally the opposite hehe; it is easy to play, it has a very imposing riff that gives a lot of strength to the song. Marilyn Manson is one of my favorite artists, sounds crazy, yes, in fact I don't usually recommend it to everyone for obvious reasons, however, if you are a fan of heavy metal in all its variants, and you haven't listened to it yet, you will probably like it.

Hola amigos de Hive y de la comunidad Sound Music, soy Fernando de @fernanblog, para este viernes por la noche y como se acerca el Halloween, les traigo un cover de guitarra de uno de los artistas más influyentes en el metal desde inicios del 2000. Hace unas semanas atrás les presenté un cover de una canción de su último disco; en esta oportunidad voy a tocar uno de los temas más agresivos y pesados de su 4to álbum de estudio llamado “Holy wood: In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death” (Madera Santa: En La Sombra Del Valle De La Muerte). Cabe destacar que este disco es uno de los más polémicos del cantante ya que lo hizo como venganza hacia quienes lo culpaban por la masacre de Columbine en el año 1999.
La canción que voy a tocar se llama “The Love Song” (La Canción de Amor), vaya titulo para un tema que es totalmente lo opuesto jeje; es fácil de tocar, tiene un riff muy imponente y que le da mucha fuerza a la canción. Marilyn Manson es uno de mis artistas favoritos, sonará descabellado, si, de hecho, no suelo recomendarlo a todo el mundo por obvias razones, sin embargo, si eres fan del metal pesado en todas sus variantes, y todavía no lo has escuchado, posiblemente te va a gustar.
