After a long time of social distancing because of Covid 19, Hanoi has officially opened and is in the "new normal" period. From restaurants to parks and especially museums have reopened to welcome visitors. I had the opportunity to visit the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum and was very impressed with the works displayed here
The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum is located at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. It is very close to other famous landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature. The museum was established in 1966, is a place to keep a lot of paintings and antiques of historical value.
The paintings are made from a variety of materials such as oil paint, lacquer, water color. The museum is divided into many galleries, and each room is characterized by a separate feature: material or historical period.
I really like the painting "Little Thuy" by artist Tran Van Can. The picture was painted in 1943 with oil paint when Ms Thuy was only 6 years old. She is now more than 80 years old, but still retains the elegant and graceful beauty of Hanoi girl. I like this painting very much because it has not only time value but also artistic and cultural value.

In addition, the exhibition hall of Buddha statues and vestiges of temples also make it difficult for me to forget. The Buddha statue is exquisitely sculpted and every detail is clearly shown. If you visit this museum, you will definitely enjoy the space here. Built according to French architecture, the whole building appears with a solemn and ancient beauty
When I returned, I was also given lovely cards by the museum about some of the works in the museum
I love history and going to museums helps me understand a lot more about the culture of my country as well as countries around the world. There is a saying "if you want to understand a place, the first one to visit is the museum of that place".
Thank you for reading. Hope you enjoy this museum and have a great weekend with your family!
