...continua

One evening Luca goes down to take out the garbage, but when he tries to return to his house, on the 20th floor of a suburban building, he discovers that another person lives in his apartment and that his life, as it was until some moment before, it no longer exists. From this moment on, new and unexpected adventures begin for Luca, which mix with the memories of his old life.

Protected

We call them even terminally patients, but we would never end their agony, with a hand we care about their diseases, with the other we keep their wounds open: as long as they suffer, they are alive.
The idea of choosing them, to accept their decisions, their will, of respecting them, does not even touch them.
The birthday day maybe we also bring them on television, like a trophy.
Do you see this twisted storage of limbs, the gaze fixed and absent, the crooked mouth, the pain in every wrinkle?
Here, we succeeded, he is still alive, we won.
Yet those who are so sick, those who suffer so long, those who also survive their soul, trapped in a slow-down body, has not reached the lowest step.
It may seem absurd, but these are the luckiest, they have been abandoned in places like this, because they had become useless, because they have already died for a long time but nobody wants to admit.
They are zombies, try themselves only if it remained inside them a glimmer of awareness, which rarely happens.
But there are those who are worse than them.
Walking along the corridor, looking into these rooms, I realize my future in front of me, the future of all those who live in this society and I am terrified, a shiver rises along my back and I begin to think about how Do to avoid such a sad end, only charge of solitude and breakthrough.
Perhaps I could do like the pellerossa and elephants, when they understand that the time has come to go, move away from the group and let themselves die.
Surely a more dignified end of what we do to our grandparents.
Perhaps for me, now, it will be easier, now that I no longer have anyone, I have no links. I've been looking for them, but I can't find anyone to attack me, live on the street, can be my way, forced perhaps, given the situation in which I find myself, to save me for an end like the one that are undergoing the protected of this house.
Finally, in the great salon I find who is worse than all, those who are not only alone and abandoned but they also make it into account, because they may maybe lost everything, but not a brain that works. They are just empty and heavy sacks that at home, children too busy and grandchildren too taken by themselves, do not have time to treat, to give them straight when they mutter and complain, as every old man is respected.
I note immediately a well-dressed lady and still fit I approach as soon as they are inside the wide living room, you immediately understand that it has no serious problems, certainly, slightly and helps with a stick, but it doesn't seem to have such an advanced age and So serious diseases to be brought to you in such a place.
This at least is the impression of her that she transmits to me as I approach her and decide that he can be that he can tell me at least the chief nurse.
