I don't want to sound nostalgic, even if I'm a little nostalgic, but the 80s and 90s were just beautiful. Speaking of cinema and television we have had many exaggerated characters, certainly stereotyped, but too strong. Those protagonists could do everything from creating a bomb with bubble gum and duct tape, to throwing three spinning kicks on a motorcycle flying from the 10th floor of a burning building. It was obvious that they plowed exaggerated, but at the time there was the lightheartedness of accepting what you looked at and taking it for what it was, today we ask ourselves too many questions, we always have to deal with it, even in cinema and entertainment. .
With this work I wanted to pay homage only to some of those characters, to make this poster I revisited and used the technique that a child of those years would have used, or newspaper clippings glued together.
The end result is very colorful and crazy, just like the 80s and 90s. I think my friend @castleberry will like this job.

TOM & JERRY: A Christmas story

Non voglio sembrare un nostalgico, anche se forse un pò lo sono, però gli anni 80 e 90 erano proprio belli. Parlando di cinema e televisione avevamo tantissimi personaggi esagerati, sicuramente stereotipati, ma troppo forti. Quei protagonisti potevano fare tutto, dal creare una bomba con una gomma da masticare e nastro adesivo, a tirare tripli calci roteati in sella ad una moto che vola dal decimo piano di un palazzo in fiamme. Era ovvio che arano esagerati, ma all'epoca c'era la spensieratezza di accettare ciò che si guardava e di prenderlo per quello che era, oggi ci si pongono troppe domande, bisogna far tornare sempre i conti, anche nel cinema e nell'intrattenimento.
Con questa opera ho voluto omaggiare solo alcuni di quei personaggi, per realizzare questo poster, ho rivisitato e utilizzato la tecnica che avrebbe utilizzato una bambini di quegli anni, ovvero ritagli di giornale appicciati tutti insieme.
Il risultato finale è molto colorato e pazzo, proprio come gli anni 80 e 90. Credo che questa opera possa piacere al mio amico @castleberry
