Hail to the Hive!
One of the best things about living in a nomadic way aboard Narrowboat Badger, is the "what's around the next bend?" feeling. The wonder and discovery of it all.
Moving at a very slow pace also makes the journey as relaxing as can be. Soaking in the views and even when you cross paths with another boat it's slow enough for a quick chat and a smile.
Deciding where and when to pull in and moor up these days is dictated by how nice I think the spot is and not how far we have traveled. We have no real agenda or destination.
Once we see a good mooring spot in a beautiful location we tend to stop for a day or 2. As long as we have water, food and diesel we are good to go. The solar panel takes care of the power.
I could get used to this 😁
