MONOMAD - A hero (4 photos)

20.jpg

Kronborg Castle in Denmark became world famous because of William Shakespeares play Hamlet. Shakespeare made Kronborg the home of Prince Hamlet. But beneath the castle it's possible to visit the casemates, that served as the soldiers quarters when there were wars going on. It was dark to walk down here. The first photo shows my sister using the light on her phone so she could read on the wall. The next two photos shows a statue of the national hero of Denmark – Holger the Dane. He is fast a sleep. Acordning to legend he will wake up if Denmark is attacked. A sleeping warrior deep under the castle.
