CSI Joy - Crime Scene Nature

CSI Joy for the #monomad challenge.

CSI Joy got called to a crime scene. What happened?

First on the scene he noticed a bunch of loose hair and bones in it. Questions were arising. Who is the victim? Who is the murderer?

Metatarsal bones and an ulna were hinting towards the victims identity.

CSI Joy then made the next discovery. Parts of the victims skull were found. He was closing in.

It slowly became obvious. With the finding of the jawbone there was no doubt anymore.

The victim was Capreolus capreolus. A Roe deer. But who murdered it?

CSI Joy closed in on the suspect. It appeared that he didn't survived his crime. The victim must have defended himself before deceasing.

Now it was clear. The remains revealed who it was.

The distinctive features of the skull left CSI Joy with no doubt. There is only one having a fin like skull crest.

Meles meles. A badger.

But soon it dawned on CSI Joy. The badger couldn't be the murderer. Roe deer is not his prey. That left one question.

Who killed the deer and the badger?
