This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.
Today I will show you one of most beautiful mountain I have ever seen in my life.
The name is Machapuchare, and it means 'fish's tail' because of its two summits seems to be the tail of a fish. It is sacred and it is forbidden to climb it.
Machapuchare is 6,993 meters high and it is inside the Annapurna Sanctuary (Nepal), in front of Annapurna I and Annapurna South.
Machapuchare is visible during Annapurna trekking, from Pokhara to Annapurna base camp, and during this wonderful trekking the view of this mountain changes every step. From Dovan (between Sinuwa and Deurali) the view is this one, there were also many clouds around the summit: each day the monsoon comes from the plain, taking rain and bad weather, but not at highest altitudine.
Here some places with guest houses, where trekkers can rest and eat.
Here some porters with their typical baskets.
After some shoots to Machapuchare and some rest, we continue to Deurali camp and towards Annapurna base camp! Stay tuned to other views of this paradisiac place!
