They Comfort Me When I'm Sad

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

Yesterday afternoon, I was hanging out with my friends, Pseudapis bees, in the bushes. They perched on the grass, and in spite of the wind, they remained firmly on their perch.

They all looked happy. None of them were sad. In fact, I was sad at the time. Some of my friends died after being exposed to Covid-19. Yeah, in my country the case of Covid-19 is currently increasing drastically.

I shared that sad story with them. Whether they understand or not, I don't care about that. But at least their adorable behavior has comforted my sadness.
