Monomad: Filoboletus

I never get tired of hunting for mushrooms. But that doesn't mean I spend every day just looking for mushrooms because they only appear a few days after it rains. Without rain, you won't find mushrooms.

Among the many types of mushrooms, this one is my favorite. Filoboletus manipularis, the glowing porecap! That's the nicest thing to look at.

Unfortunately, there is some kind of dirt or tree sap, so the bioluminescence in the pores dims. It's unavoidable because it happens naturally, and I don't want to wipe it off with a brush or anything like that. Let them just be as they are.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
