Medicinal plants in my garden and their health benefits

Today we are going to talk a little about medicinal plants I in my backyard here at home and in my garden I have some and these photographs and descriptions are as follows with some benefits in terms of health and how to prepare a tea of ​​each one or how we can use them for therapeutic purposes.

In this photo we can find the mint which is very appreciated here in my part of Portugal in the Mediterranean, for example for culinary purposes and also with many benefits for health.

Here are some examples of what peppermint is for in terms of health and the treatment and prevention of disease.
These are:
Mint tea is great for treating a variety of health problems, such as:

Poor digestion, nausea or vomiting;
High cholesterol;
Headache;
Menstrual cramps;
Nasal or pulmonary congestion, especially in cases of flu or cold with cough;
Abdominal pain, due to its anti-spasmodic action;
Insomnia;
Bloody diarrhea;
Genital trichomoniasis;

The ingredients to make this beautiful mint tea are as follows:
6 mint leaves;
1 cinnamon stick;
1 cm of ginger root;
180 ml of water.

The following should be done, add the ingredients in a pan and let it boil for a while for at least 2 minutes. Afterwards, stand for about 3 to 5 minutes until it becomes warm and then strain it without adding any kind of sugar.

Lemon leaves are very good in medicinal terms, for example, I will list their benefits:
Antibiotic effect
It is also an antioxidant.
It works well as a sedative and also as a digestive for those who say it favors weight loss.

How to make a good lemon tea let's see.

The ingredients are as follows:
15 g of lemon leaves (it is the lemon tree);
½ liter of water;
1 tablespoon of honey.

In terms of preparation it is as follows:

Place the lemon leaves and water in a pan and bring it to a boil;
Afterwards, let it boil for approximately 8 to 10 minutes;
Then wait until it has cooled slightly, add the honey and serve it very warm.

**In my garden, parsley is not lacking, I love both for culinary effects as well as for the medicinal part, which many people are unaware of its effects on health.

Parsley tea is very good but not suitable for pregnant women and you should put 1 teaspoon of dried parsley or 3 tablespoons of fresh parsley into 250 ml of boiling water and let it rest for 10 minutes. Strain and drink up to 3 cups a day.
