This morning, I made a tasty snack from tofu. In Indonesia it is called " Tahu isi". Fried tofu filled with sautéed sprouts. The nutrition of this snack is good, but some people do not like the fat from vegetable oil. Tofu has protein, while sprouts are a source of vitamin E.
To make this snack, you just need some tofu, wheat flour, sprouts, celery and scallions.
How to make the filling
- Slice the red onion and garlic.
- Take out the flesh of the brown tofu ( 10 tofus).
- Sauté the sliced red onion and garlic with the cleaned sprouts. The sprout is around 150 to 200 grams.
- Add a teaspoon of salt and a little sugar. If you like, you can add a little soy sauce to the sauté of the sprouts.
- Add the flesh of the tofu to the sprouts and stir.
- The filling is done.
This is the cooked sprout with the flesh of the tofu.

Slice the scallion into small pieces. Put around 125 grams of wheat flour in a basin. Add around 250 ml of water. Add a teaspoon of salt , a half teaspoon of pepper, and a little sugar. Mix the ingredients. Taste the mixture before you fry it, because the salty taste may not suit your appetite. You can add more salt or sugar.
Fill the tofu with cooked sprouts!

Coat the filled tofu with the mixture of wheat flour!
Fry the tofu in hot vegetable oil!
Done, your fried tofu with sprouts inside is ready to serve.
The serving style in my country is with raw chillies. Eating fried snack has hot sensation when you swallow with raw chillies.
