It's been weeks since we planned on trimming or cutting Matti's hair. The front part is just covering his eyes and causes him to rub it. Last Tuesday, after Matti rubbed his eyes a couple of times while having breakfast, my husband just went ahead and decided to cut it right there.
We didn't plan on going to a barbershop as this kid is very active and we want to just do it ourselves.

We let him watch his favorite YouTube video while we prepare the things we needed such as scissors, a wet towel, and an envelope to keep some hair for remembrance.
He was all focused on the monitor! Look at how messy his shirt was!
I used his nail scissors for this as recommended in the DIY video that we watched. I went to cut first and the length was at the eyebrows, I thought that's already good but since the cut was not straight, the husband wants to continue cutting.
He cut and cut until it reached this point, I said the length now is very short and he looks like a girl! Look at Matti:
He has new teeth erupting soon so he is putting his finger into his gums!
There were several instances during the cutting process where he would stop us from cutting his hair. But we succeeded, all thanks to the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star video!
He was still watching even after we cut his hair. I already said enough because the husband still continued to cut some more hair.
After this, I bathed Matti and put him to sleep.
I still can't get over that his bangs are very short and aren't straight too!

When he woke up, he asked to go to his father's office. I let him go there and play with his papa!
