Cool? Summer? No we don't have 4 season here. We only have monsoon season and the super hot season. Sky goes really shady today morning, I thought it's going to rain, and all of a sudden, sun ray pierce through the entire sky, it's like a laser gunning down all the dark clouds and no rain!
The giant lockdown has been going on for months now, and the number still going up everyday. I think people already started to feel numb about it. Given the country is only this small, but the infection number is so damn ridiculously huge. Some say, might as well let the people live, let them eat, let them make a living, rather than stuck at home even if they didn't get killed by the virus, they'd be getting killed by the hunger. And it's true, this week marked the first time walking to the lower ground floor to check out KFC lunch, most if not all these small business are not only closed, but also had their signboard removed.
Well, there's only two reasons people will remove their signboard from the shop. One being evacuated, and you decided to keep the board so you can make use of it on the next mall allow you to start with a cheaper rent. Some of these mall even offer new tenant free rental, except need to bear with the small management fee and also your own electricity. Or, you're moving to a better location and decided to move over to grab more business.
And also, I was just reading through another article about conventional sundry shop that is hard to survive nowadays due to these type of convenient stores growing popular, and they're there on every occasions. Their stuff are not cheap by all mean, like each and every item are a buck or two more expensive that the hypermarket, but still people buy into this. Basically, now FamilyMart is a thing, for us Malaysians.
Decided to pack dinner from the Bak Kut Teh store. I'm going to save this portion of food review tomorrow. It's a kind of super cool herbal soup that gives a lot of memory from it's original storeis. We will come back to that again tomorrow, because the home minister is going to do something crazy with it.
