Cosechando ajíes dulces de mi patio / Harvesting sweet peppers from my yard

Greetings, today I am very happy to be able to share with you the first fruits harvested from my sweet pepper plants, a while ago a neighbor gave me some seeds to plant, I was a little discouraged due to the problems of the water supply that makes it difficult to water my plants as often as I used to, however the past rains in late August and early September made my plants improve a lot, I think the type of water has a lot to do with plant growth They do not grow the same when I water them with water from the pipe, which is sometimes very messy and at other times it comes with a lot of chlorine, in addition to that previously it helped me a little to collect the water from the air conditioning which stopped working due to the electrical lows, so when it rains for me it is a lot of joy because I know it will do my plants good.

The seeds that my neighbor gave me I distributed half in my backyard while the others were sown in my garden on the front side of my house, I noticed that after the rains some plants in the patio progress a lot, they turned very green and its leaves were shining, soon they began to bloom.

However, the plants in front of which only three develop, did not show the same growth rate, they were very small, I think it also influences that they carry more sun and in my city the sun and heat is very strong because it is a semi-arid climate, while the patio plants have periods of shade depending on the time due to my mango tree, to make matters worse my plants on the front side were attacked by black ants, as you can see in the photos that I will show you below you can see the huge ants, so far I have not been able to get rid of these insects that are whipping my plants from the front side, I do not see hope that these plants will recover however I wish I could remove those ants for future plantings .

On the other hand, I am happy for my chili plants from the backyard, although they did not all develop and they are not of considerable size, they surprised me with their flowers and fruits, these are just the first chili peppers that I harvest, But the plants still have some flowers that will surely turn into fruits, as well as some fruits that are still very green, which I left to harvest on another day.

Maybe it may seem that collecting 5 chili peppers in total is not a large number, but I think it is a great joy for people who are plant enthusiasts and who have so many problems to get water, this opens a path of hope, because I had lost my spirits with my plants, many years ago I used to harvest many fruits and legumes in my yard, but the climate changed a lot and the droughts are much longer in my city, in addition to the appearance of ants, but today I feel very spirited and I hope that if someone reads this story to me, they feel motivated to plant even a chili pepper plant, because seeing the fruits grow is something very exciting, besides, and someone has advice to give me about ants, I appreciate it very much .
