Seaweed and Beneficial Microorganisms… in a bottle

Seaweed and Beneficial Microorganisms… in a bottle🤫

I have been concerned about the microbiological life in the garden since starting summer abruptly with a crazy heatwave and overloading our soil with lots of carbon materials, as I mentioned in a previous post recently:

Currently, I need to add more nitrogen fixing bacterias because I overloaded the yard with carbon materials and mycelium over the past 8 months.

Because of summer and how exorbitantly hot it can get in the delivery trucks and how impossible it can be to manage compost piles outside, I opted to go and visit the local grow shop to buy nitrogen fixing microbes in a bottle and seaweed. The seaweed was to help provide proteins, sugars, and minerals to the bacterias namely and the plant root stimulating properties of seaweed was something I wanted as well.

I found a product called Bioweed to use as a seaweed product. Essentially, a base for the solution for the beneficial microorganisms I was to buy.

For the price point and past experience using Great White products I choose Great White Mycorrhizae to use for my microbiological product.

But wait there's more!

I was given 8 oz of King Crab a new product that is highly concentrated nitrogen and phosphorous fixing microbes, for free!

Plant Success King Crab
Increase yields, maximize phosphorous uptake, and add life to the root zone! The active microbes in King Crab were specifically selected to enhance root zone performance during the vegetative stage and increase yields in the flowering stage. With 275 million organisms per mL, these microbes enhance absorption of phosphorous and micronutrients, which is key to higher yields and quality flowers.
• 11 species of powerful bacteria specifically selected to boost phosphorous uptake and plant performance
• Increases yield for less cost than competing products
• Enhances phosphorous and micronutrient uptake

Application

I combined said products together as directed into my backpack sprayer and foliar sprayed the garden in the late afternoon/early evening.
Soil drenching is recommended to ensure root inoculation. But foliar applications will work, just ensure soil and plants are well watered and application is done early evening or an hour before sunrise.

I saw great results and will make a walkthrough post tomorrow to show off the results.
