It is a pleasure for me to publish again in this #HiveGarden community and I was in the process of making some new beds that I had to prepare to grow my own food and life itself tells you that it is necessary to grow everything. as much as possible, and make the most of our patio.

To begin, I needed the help and cooperation of my husband, since removing the earth requires more physical effort and this is a family project, so we all have to cooperate and take a little time out of our free time to carry out the flowerbeds.

After forming the beds we begin sowing chives, since it grows very quickly in 45 days you already have your first chives and on alternate days you can cut it and weekly you have new chives that can be removed and replanted, so production increases very quickly.

Chives are very useful in the kitchen to season and season our food, with a flavor very similar to that of onion, but milder, it is chopped and preserved in vinegar, so as not to waste, and it is used to season foods such as soups, meat, tortillas and in many other dishes and apart from giving a very mild and pleasant flavor, it has many nutritional properties and also provides a good number of nutrients such as vitamins A, B and C, and minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. All these properties make this plant an ally against stomach discomfort, cholesterol or heart disease, which is why its daily consumption is necessary.

Maintaining the chives is not an easy task, it requires a lot of watering, and more so in the east where the sun is so strong, that is why in the afternoons I water them again so that they can grow, but with the rush of daily chores I almost always go out to water them for a few minutes. before leaving for work, but I don't leave without watering them. Because if not, what has been achieved is lost.
Currently I already have a good harvest and I have been able to market it and increase household income, and at the current time I consider that it is vitally important to reduce costs at home and look for alternatives that guarantee an entry of economy into the home.

Here we are planting sweet potatoes, a food that is grown at any time and in three months it is ready for consumption, which is why it falls among short-cycle crops. And for us, food is a dish that cannot be missing from the table, but it is already difficult to acquire due to high prices and high demand, which is why growing it is a good option.

Boiled tuna is very tasty, but it can also be eaten fried or as a dessert since the sweet potato dessert is very delicious, it also contributes to the health of the immune system and reduces inflammation.

But to my surprise, tomorrow when I went out for a walk on the other side of the patio, where very soon I will make new beds, my daughter found a pumpkin that we never saw born, but they are already savoring it, one says that she is going to make pumpkin fries and The other says a pumpkin flan and we have learned to grow our own food.
