The last month has been quite strange, now my YouTube is full of videos about NFT games as a recommendation, many projects in which you can invest and so little money to do it, and more in this wild market where an investment can mark the difference between winning or losing a lot of money, in this case, I have decided to tell you about my experience of more or less 3 weeks since I entered Plant Vs Undead, a very profitable project but whose changes generate mistrust.

As such, Plant Vs Undead is projected as a game with PvP and PvE modes with a beta soon to be launched in October and to the public in November, so far we have been able to participate in the Farm mode, which prepares us for said game, the system is simple, we can plant a certain number of plants and we must take care of them every day until we harvest them, each plant gives us LE and we can invest it in more plants and repeat the cycle.

We have two different types of plants, temporary (not NFT) and permanent (NFT), the latter can be traded on the marketplace in PVUs, and they will be an important element of the future game.

The temporary ones on the other hand are designed to help us reach the permanent ones, because currently without a minimum of 1 permanent plant, we cannot withdraw money from the game, the way to do it is by exchanging LE for PVU, currently the exchange rate is 150 LE -> 1 PVU if you are going to withdraw, and 1 PVU -> 105 LE if you are going to deposit, but initially they were 100/1 and 1/70 respectively.

Entry requires a minimum of 5 PVUs, at the time of writing this post, the value ranges from $10 per PVU, so the entry barrier is very low compared to other games such as Axie Infinity where there is a scholarship system, although PVU is aiming for something similar once we move onto the main game.

The plants, temporary and permanent, are divided into two groups, plants and mother trees, we can plant up to 5 plants and 1 mother tree on our free land, we can buy NFT land, these are much more expensive than one plant though but they allow us to have more plants and mother trees, so the investment can be convenient.

The project really only has one big problem in my opinion, and that is that they implement too many changes seeking the greatest possible stability of the economy, but it ends up being counterproductive.

For example, when Farm 2.0 was implemented, it was possible to water the plants of the neighbors (users who own NFT lands) in order to obtain rewards, the objective became to gather 100 Saplings (temporary plants) to make the exchange to a seed that it would later give us an NFT plant.

Due to excessive server overload and there were many people withdrawing money as fast as they could due to the high value of the PVU at the time, the developers decided to restrict the exchange from LE to PVU to all those people without an NFT plant, and that cost triple to everyone who only had one, leaving the base rate for all owners of two or more plants, or an NFT land, this generated a massive wave of discontent and many people left the game, the price of the PVU dropped almost in the middle, but at the same time it became an opportunity for other people to enter with less capital.

Then information was given about the event that would replace the daily mission, the World Tree, which all players will water daily to receive a series of rewards in which technically we were given the possibility of getting 1 NFT in a week, then from that to get the second would be easier, but once Farm 2.5 had started and the requirement of one or two NFTs were established, they decided to announce that only 1 NFT would be asked to charge PVU at base rate, but this rate would increase to 150 LE for 1 PVU, which caused another wave of withdrawals and further lowered the price of the PVU.

These changes were applied on September 19, and at the moment the price of the PVU ranges between $ 9 and $ 11, but the cost of the plants has been greatly reduced due to the high supply compared to previous days, it will be necessary to see if they implement more changes from now on or the economy stabilizes as we go to the main game, where we already know that it will work on a different network and will use a second token other than the PVU.

Personally, I remain confident in the project, because despite the problems, the Plant Vs Undead devs continue to do their best to give us a good experience where we can all participate, and the Farm is only the carpet that will lead us to it.

Since I entered, each change was a heart attack, but eventually you end up adapting and if it is to guarantee the longevity of the project, it is best that they continue to be done, only in a more spaced period of time, as other games do.

El último mes ha sido bastante extraño, ahora mi YouTube está todo plagado de videos sobre juegos NFT a modo de recomendación, muchos proyectos en los cuales se puede invertir y tan poco dinero para hacerlo, y más en este mercado salvaje donde una inversión puede marcar la diferencia entre ganar o perder mucho dinero, en este caso, he decidido contarles mi experiencia de más o menos 3 semanas desde que entré a Plant Vs Undead, un proyecto muy rentable pero cuyos cambios generan desconfianza.

Como tal, Plant Vs Undead se proyecta como un juego com modos PvP y PvE con beta próxima a lanzarse en octubre y al público en noviembre, de momento hemos podido participar en la modalidad de Farm, la cual nos prepara para dicho juego, el planteamiento es simple, podemos sembrar un número determinado de plantas y debemos cuidar de ellas todos los días hasta cosecharlas, cada planta nos da LE y podemos invertirlo en más plantas y repetir el ciclo.

Tenemos dos tipos de plantas diferentes, temporales (no NFT) y permanentes (NFT), estas últimas pueden ser negociadas en el marketplace en PVUs además de que serán un elemento importante del futuro juego.

Las temporales en cambio están diseñadas para ayudarnos a llegar a las permanentes, pues actualmente sin un mínimo de una planta permanente, no podemos retirar dinero del juego, la forma de hacerlo es intercambiando LE por PVU, actualmente la tasa de cambio es de 150 LE -> 1 PVU si vas a retirar, y 1 PVU -> 105 LE si vas a ingresar.

El ingreso requiere un mínimo de 5 PVU, al momento de escrito este post, el valor oscila los 10$ por PVU, por lo que la barrera de entrada es muy baja comparada a otros juegos como Axie Infinity donde existe un sistema de becas, aunque PVU apunta a algo similar una vez avancemos hacia el juego principal.

Las plantas, temporales y permanentes, se dividen en dos grupos, plantas y mother trees, en lo que al farm respecta podemos sembrar hasta 5 plantas y 1 mother tree en nuestra tierra gratuita, podemos comprar tierras NFT, estas son muchísimo más costosas que una planta
pero nos permiten tener más plantas y mother trees, por lo que la inversión puede resultar conveniente.

El proyecto realmente solo tiene un gran problema a mi parecer, y es que implementan demasiados cambios buscando la mayor estabilidad de la economía posible, pero termina siendo contraproducente.

Por ejemplo, cuando se implementó el Farm 2.0 se podían regar las plantas de los vecinos (usuarios dueños de tierras NFT) para así obtener recompensas, el objetivo se convirtió en reunir 100 Saplings (plantas temporales) para hacer el intercambio a una semilla que nos daría posteriormente una planta NFT.

Debido a una sobrecarga excesiva del servidor y que había mucha gente sacando dinero lo más rápido que podían debido al alto valor del PVU en ese momento, los desarrolladores decidieron restrigir el intercambio de LE a PVU a todas aquellas personas sin planta NFT, y que le costara el triple a todos los que solo tuvieran una, dejando la tasa base para todos los propietarios de dos o más plantas, o una tierra NFT, esto generó una ola masiva de descontento y mucha gente abandonó el juego, el precio del PVU bajó casi a la mitad pero a su vez se convirtió en una oportunidad para que otras personas pudieran ingresar con menos capital.

Luego se dio información sobre el evento que reemplazaría a la misión diaria, el Árbol del Mundo, al cual todos los jugadores regarán diariamente para recibir una serie de recompensas en las cuales tecnicamente se nos daba la posibilidad de conseguir 1 NFT en una semana, luego de eso conseguir el segundo sería más fácil, pero una vez iniciado el Farm 2.5 y establecido el requisito de uno o dos NFT, decidieron anunciar que solo se pediría 1 NFT para cobrar PVU a tasa base, pero esta tasa aumentaría a 150 LE por 1 PVU, lo cual causó otra ola de retiros y redujo aún más el precio del PVU.

Estos cambios se aplicaron el 19 de Septiembre, y de momento el precio del PVU oscila entre 9 y 11$, pero el costo de las plantas se ha reducir enormemente debido a la alta oferta en comparación a días anteriores, tocará ver si implementan más cambios de ahora en adelante o se estabiliza la economía mientras vamos camino al juego principal, donde ya sabemos que funcionará en una red diferente y empleará un segundo token diferente al PVU.

Personalmente mantengo la confianza en el proyecto, pues aunque a pesar de los problemas los devs de Plant Vs Undead siguen haciendo lo posible por brindarnos una buena experiencia donde todos podamos participar, y el Farm solo es la alfombra que nos llevará a ello.

Desde que entré cada cambio era un ataque al corazón, pero eventualmente te terminas adaptando y si es para garantizar la longevidad del proyecto lo mejor es que se sigan haciendo, solo que en un periodo más espaciado de tiempo, como hacen otros juegos.
