The game has 3 different game modes which will be the story mode where we must go defeating each of the characters to progress with the story, the battle mode which will be identical to the story mode but without the text screens and with the ability to choose any of the 3 villains as a character available to play. Finally we have the Vs mode in which we can compete against another player and like the Battle mode we can choose any of the 9 characters. As you might expect in Story Mode you can only choose a member of the Justice League and in the same we must defeat the other members of the League, to have some sense these fights is said in the story that only our character will be the real member of the League and the others will be enemies pretending to be members of the Justice League.

Como se podría esperar al igual que la gran cantidad de los Héroes cuentan con sus videojuegos individuales, también la Liga De La Justicia ha contado con varios títulos de Videojuegos a la largo de los años y uno de estos títulos se trata de Justice League Task Force un videojuego de más de 25 años de antigüedad el cual fue publicado en el año 1995 y estuvo disponible para la Sega Génesis y también para la SNES.

Justice League Task Force se trata de un videojuego de lucha y combates estilo Arcade bastante similar a otros juegos de la época como Eternal Champions, Mortal Kombat y similares en donde todo el juego se basara en combates individuales en 2D y Scroll Lateral donde deberemos vencer al enemigo dos veces para poder avanzar. En el juego contara con un total de 9 personajes de los cuales 6 serán miembros de la Liga de la Justica, Superman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Flecha Verda y La Mujer Maravilla. Los otros tres personajes seran villanos como Cheetah y Darkseid.
El juego cuenta con 3 modos de juego diferente los cuales serán el modo Historia en donde debemos ir derrotando a cada uno de los personajes para progresar con la historia, el modo batalla el cual será idéntico al modo historia pero sin las pantallas de texto y con la posibilidad de escoger a alguno de los 3 villanos como personaje disponible para jugar. Por ultimo contamos con el Modo Vs en el cual podremos competir contra otro jugador y al igual que el modo Batalla podremos escoger a cualquiera de los 9 personajes. Como se podría esperar en el Modo Historia solamente se podrá escoger a un miembro de la Liga de la Justicia y en el mismo deberemos derrotar a los otros miembros de la Liga, pera tener algo de sentido estos combates se dice en la historia que solamente nuestro personaje será el verdadero miembro de la Liga y los demás serán enemigos fingiendo ser los miembros de la Liga de la Justicia.
La jugabilidad de Justice League Task Force es igual a la gran mayoría de juegos de este estilo en donde contaremos con diferentes ataques como golpes y patadas, al combinar dichos ataques entre si así como con las flechas de dirección podremos realizar diferentes combos y ataques especiales como ataques a distancia, agarres y ataques a gran velocidad. Contaremos con la posibilidad de bloquear los golpes pero si el enemigo está muy cerca de nuestro personaje nos realizara un agarre y este tipo de ataque no se puede bloquear. A diferencia de otros juegos de lucha Justice League Task Force cuenta con diferentes niveles de dificultad el cual se puede modificar desde las opciones del juego, se puede apreciar bastante los diferentes niveles de dificultad en donde el nivel más bajo será muy fácil para completar el juego e ir aprendiendo poco a poco antes de subir a mayores niveles en donde resulta extremadamente complicado vencer.
El juego cuenta con un escenario único para luchar contra cada personaje en donde el fondo del mismo será muy representativo del enemigo en cuestión como en el caso de Aquaman a quien enfrentamos en su palacio submarino o el caso de Superman en donde parte del diseño del escenario donde lucharemos será la esfera del Diario El Planeta donde trabaja Superman. Algo que era bastante común en estos videojuegos de lucha era el tener que combatir contra un doble de tu personaje y este título no es la excepción ya que antes de avanzar a luchar final contra Darkseid deberemos derrotar a un clon de nuestro propio personaje. Justice League Task Force se trata de un juego típico de Lucha en donde podremos usar algunos de los personajes más populares e icónicos de DC.
