China is now Cracking Down on Gamers

Almost everyone in the world knows how the Chinese Social System works and how they are treated based on a Social Credit System which in my opinion is not that good. But now it seems China is hammering down on the Gaming Community as well. Tencent who is one of the biggest companies in China has officially stated that they are now going to monitor people playing their games on Smartphones. The Monitoring will be based on a lot of parameters like hours of playtime, age of the user, and many more. But it doesn't stop there as they go one step further. Overplaying Games now may also lead to a lower Social Credit Score and if you are a Minor then you cannot play games from 11 PM to 8 AM. So yeah things are definitely going to get tough and rough for people that wanna play games.

What are my Opinions?

Personally, I fking hate it as I am a Gamer myself. There should be no limit on gaming time but logically thinking letting minor play games all the time is definitely not a good idea so there should definitely be some sort of safety mechanism that gives some sort of control to parents but that control should be on parents and not the government plus the Chinese Government will also lower your Social Credit Score depending on how much you play games. That is just simply absurd and kind of threatening.

I know China has always done things this way but still, this is something I just can't help but feel like the Government is forcing the kids to stay away from Games or else. Just imagine that if you play games then you may not get a Job in the future as the Government will reduce your Social Credit Score that is downright scary and the reason I am a little scared is that lately Indian Government has also taken a negative approach towards Gaming and I am just hoping that Indian Government doesn't follow into China's Footsteps.
