Jarvis - Your Butler on Hive

Good news fellow #Hivees,

Your favorite crypto butler is now exclusively available for Hive.

Jarvis is an automatization tool, which you run yourself on your computer/server, that does specific things, such as:

  • Transfer HBD & HIVE to a specified account
  • Power-up HIVE to your specified account
  • Delegate HIVEPOWER to a specified account[s]
  • Claim HBD, HIVE & HIVEPOWER rewards
  • Claim Account Creation Tokens

Right now, setting it up requires a bit of technical knowledge, but it's on my to-do list to make it easier for the average user.

Getting Started

The new version includes code that will automatically convert your previous config (from steem-jarvis). This includes RPC-Nodes, etc. It will replace your current config.json and save the old one as config.old.json.

It should work 99.999%, but to be safe, make sure you run the first start as development.

git clone https://github.com/therealwolf42/hive-jarvis.git
cd hive-jarvis

# Scripts needs special rights
chmod +x run.sh

# If you haven't installed Docket yet
./run.sh install_docker

# Do you have a config already from steem-jarvis? Copy it now
# Make sure you use the correct folder names
cp steem-jarvis/configs/config.json hive-jarvis/configs/config.json

# Choose MODE (Default: development => testing-mode without broadcasts to blockchain)
# For example: ./run.sh build production
# If you haven't run it yet (especially the new Hive version)
# then please run development first to test if everything works
./run.sh build MODE # MODE is either production OR development

# To (re-)start the scripts
./run.sh restart

# To get a list of possible commands, use: ./run.sh help
