Well, it was a lyrical introduction. After looking in the "Photos" folder, I was stuck in photos from a beautiful castle... Today is Saturday! В цей дощовий осінній день згадувати далеке минуле особливо приємно... Бажано при цьому попивати щось гаряче. І ще можна гладити кота, якщо він у вас є. У мене п’ять. І один з них щойно образився, адже я набираю ці рядки на ноуті і не можу тримати його на колінах...
Ну, це був ліричний вступ. Зазирнувши у папку “Фото” я залипла на фотографіях із одного чудового замку... Сьогодні субота! Як ви здогадались, саме сьогодні можна описувати свої спогади у спільноті #saturdaymemories, яку створила моя подруга. Ви можете взяти з мене приклад)))
There are many castles in my country. Some of them are in excellent condition and some are in ruins. Some can be rebuilt, and some are best kept at least in the condition in which they are! Because the ruins also have their own beauty. I was always drawn to old castles, abandoned houses, and once upon a time to cemeteries. I didn't have a car and had not much of money. But I traveled a lot on the outskirts of my native Lviv, in the region. And alone, and sometimes with friends. Since I'm an introvert, all options were suitable)))
В моїй країні багато замків. Деякі із них у чудовому стані, а деякі є руїнами. Деякі можна відбудувати, а деякі краще зберегти принаймні у тому стані, в якому вони є! Бо у руїнах теж своя краса. Мене завжди тягнуло до старих замків, покинутих будинків, а колись дуже давно і до цвинтарів. У мене не було авто і було доволі небагато грошей. Але я багато подорожувала по околицях рідного Львова, по області. І сама, і з колишнім чоловіком, і часом з друзями. Оскільки я інтроверт, то підходили всі варіанти)))
Stare selo (ie Old-village) is located 15 km from Lviv. People traveling by train in the direction of Ivano-Frankivsk (it is also the regional center) can see the majestic walls in the valley.
It was in 2011. (It's hard to believe!) I traveled there by electric train and very quickly found myself on the spot. From afar it is breathtaking from these walls! The area inside the castle walls is two hectares, it is the largest castle in the Lviv region!!
Старе село знаходиться у 15 км від Львова. Люди, які подорожують потягом у напрямку Івано-Франківська (це також обласний центр) можуть побачити величні стіни у долині, а навколо багато будинків. Це велике село.
Ось і я тоді, у далекому 2011 році (вадко повірити!) помандрувала туди на електропоїзді і дуже швидко опинилась на місці. Вже здалеку дух захоплює від оцих стін! Площа всередині стін замку два гектари, він є найбільший замок у Львівській області!!!
I immediately wanted to get into the yard of this giant. The first wooden castle was built here in 1448, and it was made of stone and brick a hundred years later. The castle belonged to a rich family of Ostroh lords. Once there was a small palace, buildings for soldiers and servants. However, time destroyed it all! Only the walls and ruins of the towers remain. Unfortunately, they change for the worse every year... Then in 2011 we went inside the towers and climbed there. But this year my friend and I were there again. And now it was scary to enter the towers.
Мені одразу захотілось потрапити у двір цього велетня. Перший дерев’яний замок постав тут у 1448 році, я кам’яно-цегляний на сто років пізніше. Замок належав багатому роду панів Острозьких. Колись тут був маленький палац, будівлі для воїнів та прислуги. Проте час усе це знищив! Лишились тіьки стіни і руїни башт. На жаль і вони щороку змінюються у гіршу сторону... Тоді у 2011 ми ще заходили всередину башт і лазили там. Цього року ми були там з подругою ще раз. І тепер заходити у башти було вже страшно.
I especially like these renaissance tops of the walls.
People like to graze cattle on the juicy grass of the castle. Beautiful horses and a goat turned out to be good photo models... And I think that in the distant past it is possible that horses on which riders rode also grazed somewhere here.
Людям подобається пасти худобу на соковитому дворі замку... Красиві коні та коза виявились хорошими фотомоделями... А я чомусь думаю, що у далекому минулому можливо десь тут теж паслись коні, на яких їздили вершники...
Where once knights and aristocrats used to go, where loud banquets were even posible, now the king is a thistle.
Там, де колись ходили лицарі та аристократи, де можливо навіть відбувались гучні бенкети, тепер королем є будяк.
In 2010, the castle was given in concession, ie leased for 49 years to a local entrepreneur. He promised to restore one of the towers and create a touristic center in the castle. However, he did not fulfill his promises. I do not know how this story ended) But in one of the sources on the Internet I read that in 2021 the Ministry of Culture allegedly allocated funds for the restoration of the castle. This gives hope.
I really want this beauty to live. That it was visited by tourists and it was possible to have a rest on a green grass. We will believe in the best!
У 2010 замок був відданий у концесію, тобто в аренду на 49 років місцевому підприємцю. Він обіцяв відновити одну з веж і створити у замку відпочинковий центр. Проте обіцянки не виконав. Я не знаю, чим закінчилась ця історія) Але в одному з джерел в інтернеті прочитала, що Міністерство культури ніби виділило кошти на реставрацію замку. Ця дарує надію. Дуже хочеться, щоб цей красень жив. Щоб його відвідували туристи і можна було відпочити на зеленій травичці. Щоб стіни на падали далі... Будемо вірити в краще)
