Quisiera no perderte nunca y tu piel no cediera
al inclemente paso del tiempo y los años.
Manchas y arrugas se asoman en tu piel
hablan por si solas que ya ha llegado la vejez.
La longevidad siempre corre delante de uno
corre muy rápido y los años nos atacan para desecharnos
dejando un vació tan profundo del que es muy difícil salir.
Hay una esperanza mas allá de lo mortal,
una a la que me aferro firmemente y le da paz a mi ansiedad
de no volver a contemplar tu sonrisa
y tus manos lisas acaricien mis mejillas.

Stains and wrinkles appear on your skin
they speak for themselves that old age has arrived.
Longevity always runs ahead of you
It runs very fast and the years attack us to discard us
leaving a void so deep that it is very difficult to get out.
There is hope beyond mortal
one that I hold on tight and gives peace to my anxiety
not to see your smile again
and your smooth hands caress my cheeks.
