It was a mixture of ashes from ruins, from beautiful temples, dust from lost kingdoms, moist earth from aromatic forests, mysterious swamps, and desert clay. The chapped hands that treated the special material were wise, they were loving and warm, they also knew coldness and death. With compassion and patience, he dedicated himself to sculpting dreams, modeling stars; it made remote skies and let them dry in the breeze.

The substance on some days was rebellious and stubborn, it wanted to harden itself towards a capricious side, while on other days it was graceful and complacent. She was fragile to sounds, sour words affected her, she loved myths and rain, especially when lightning struck in the distance.

Buscaban colores.

One afternoon they decided to leave, to undertake a necessary journey that would give him the freshness of the whole world. Creator and creation left, both wet, both compressed and carved by experience, shaped by the time they had shared together. They were an alchemical communication. They were looking for colors.

The first one he found was indigo, a girl with pale eyes and tanned cheeks gave it to him from a broken pot. The next was red, stained from the blood of its creator when it was snatched from his hands, life was transmitted to one from the heart of the other like a crimson pact. Green grew in the corners of pure solitude and in other angles the rust suffered, the metals on its surface were activated, the world was hard and it had to resist.

The travel continued. He first became a treasure, hidden behind strong greedy doors, he passed through many hungry ambitions, haunted by his vitality. Then, it was art, placed in the middle of some great stairs, where many eyes admired him, voices murmured wondering where he had come from, why he had been created and what talented genius had made him.

Until a new color surprised him. Nostalgia gave it to him. An alchemical gaze looked at him again, he was his creator with a new form. The spark of that pupil animated him, the breath of that throat vibrated, he had to give him back the life that he had fiercely kept within himself. The sculpture then broke, its parts rolled on the ground until they became nothing ... and the young man who dreamed of being an artist, his cancer was miraculously cured.
