Por primera vez me encuentro publicando en la comunidad de Holos&Lotus y me he animado gracias a la iniciativa: En armonía con la Madre Tierra, a través de la cual nos invitan a mostrar nuestros corazón ecologista.
Durante este año y producto del confinamiento me he volcado mucho hacia la naturaleza, he encontrado en ella una fuente de alegría y una sabiduría inmensa. En casa tenemos un huerto que empezó mi abuela (93) y ahora mi mamá y yo hemos estado colaborando con ella.
Una de las cosas que hacemos es usar abono orgánico que es un gran alimento para nuestras plantas y por eso me gustaría compartir con ustedes dos maneras de realizar abono orgánico.

For the first time I find myself publishing in the Holos&Lotus community and I have been encouraged by the initiative: In harmony with Mother Earth, through which we are invited to show our ecological heart.
During this year and as a result of my confinement, I have turned to nature, I have found in it a source of joy and immense wisdom. At home, we have a garden that my grandmother (93) started and now my mom and I have been collaborating with her.
One of the things we do is to use organic compost which is a great food for our plants and that is why I would like to share with you two ways to make organic compost for your plants.

(1) Abono orgánico con cáscaras de banana | Organic fertilizer with banana peelings
Los abonos orgánicos son muy fáciles de hacer y uno de mis favoritos por su sencillez y efectividad es el que podemos hacer con cáscaras de banana, para esto cortamos la concha o cáscara de banana en pequeños cuadros, le colocamos agua (me gusta usar agua filtrada) y batimos hasta lograr disolver lo más que podamos las cáscaras.
Organic fertilizers are very easy to make and one of my favorites for its simplicity and effectiveness is the one we can make with banana peels, for we cut the shell or banana peel into small squares, we put water (I like to use filtered water) and liquefies until we dissolve the peels as much as we can.
Este abono lo uso de dos maneras, una es colocándolo directamente en la tierra de la planta moviendo un poco la tierra para que lo absorba.
I use this fertilizer in two ways, one is by placing it directly in the soil of the plant, moving the soil a little so that it absorbs it.
La otra manera es colocándolo en la tierra y mezclando, veremos que la humedece y ya será un sustrato que podremos usar para abonar a nuestras plantas.

(2) Abono orgánico mixto | Organic mixed fertilizers
El siguiente abono orgánico que les mostrare´es también muy fácil de preparar, es abono orgánico mixto pues en este caso he tomado además de la piel de las bananas, otros elementos como cáscaras de huevo bien trituradas, hojas de perejil que me sobraban, tallos de perejil, algunos sobrantes coliflor y piel de cebolla. El procedimiento para su realización es el mismo que mencioné anteriormente, solo basta con colocar agua filtrada y batir muy bien.

Este abono me gusta aplicarlo directamente a la tierra para que la enriquezca y luego colocar ese sustrato en las plantas.
Estos abonos los he usado para las plantas de ají, lirios, cebollín y para una planta de tomate a la cual, lamentablemente, le cayó una plaga llamada araña roja que la debilito hasta matarla. No pude encontrar un pesticida natural para acabar con la plaga. Sin embargo, gracias a este abono la planta pudo darnos unos tomates, esa planta me recordó que a veces atravesamos por situaciones adversas pero aún así podemos dar frutos de provecho.
Y con esta reflexión me despido, sigamos pensando en nuestra Madre Tierra y siendo cada día más consciente sobre todo aquello que podemos hacer para cuidarla.
