Every week @tobetada invites us to participate in the Love The Clouds community contest to share our photographs, drawings or any representation of the clouds we wish to show.
Para esta semana me puse un poco nostálgica y decidí participar con una fotografía de las nubes tomada desde un lugar especial en Caracas, Venezuela. En el mes de febrero, antes de que iniciara la cuarentena, fui con mis amigas al sistema de teleférico Warairarepano ubicado en la capital del país.
For this week I got a little nostalgic and decided to participate with a photograph of the clouds taken from a special place in Caracas, Venezuela. In February, before the beginning of the quarantine, I went with my friends to the Warairarepano cable car system located in the capital of the country.
Los que lo han visitado sabrán que es muy común pasar mucho tiempo en la cola para subir jajaja pero al final vale la pena poder disfrutar de la vista de nuestra ciudad que nos ofrece el lugar, junto con los locales de ricas comidas y postres, algunas actividades recreativas y el característico frío que hace.
Those who have visited it will know that it is very common to spend a lot of time in line to go up hahaha but in the end it is worth it to be able to enjoy the view of our city that the place offers us, along with the places of rich foods and desserts, some recreational activities and the characteristic cold that it is.
Lo que más me sorprendió de esta última vez que fui, fue cómo se veían las nubes. El viaje con mis amigas se vio retrasado un poco por quedarnos un buen rato tomando fotografías o solo observando este hermoso paisaje.
What surprised me most about this last time I went, was how the clouds looked. The trip with my friends was delayed a bit because we stayed a while taking pictures or just observing this beautiful landscape.
Desde la ciudad, podemos apreciar las nubes y las montañas desde abajo, pero esta vez podíamos ver como las nubes estaban por encima de las montañas y las cubrían casi en su totalidad. De fondo, se les veía como una línea recta similar a cuando vamos a la playa y vemos el horizonte. Simplemente fue una experiencia mágica.
From the city, we can see the clouds and the mountains from below, but this time we could see how the clouds were above the mountains and covered them almost entirely. In the background, they looked like a straight line similar to when we go to the beach and see the horizon. It was simply a magical experience.
