Greetings to all the creative members of Hivediy this time I bring you some Calla flowers, made with dried material from palm trees, I have insisted on showing you another work , so that they learn about the handling of this material. I placed these flowers in a box with a vase, which I also made with this same material.

Un saludo a todos los miembros creativos de Hivediy en esta oportunidad les traigo unas flores Calas, elaboradas con material seco de las palmeras, he insistido en mostrarles otra obra más, para que vayan conociendo sobre el manejo de este material. Estas flores las coloqué en un cuadro con un florero, que también hice con este mismo material.

I like working with this material, because I do interesting works and without spending money, and at the same time, I am contributing to environmental sanitation.	Me gusta trabajar con este material, porque realizo obras interesantes y sin gastar dinero, y a la vez, estoy contribuyendo con el saneamiento ambiental.

- In the next step, I will make a cardboard template, of the shape and size of the flower, which will serve as a guide to cut the palm tree material, for this I used a round cap and lengthened the ends, to give it an oval shape, see images:	- En el siguiente paso, haré una plantilla de cartulina, de la forma y tamaño de la flor, que servirá de guía para cortar el material de palmeras, para esto usé una tapa redonda y alargué los extremos, para darle una forma ovalada, ver imágenes:

- Now I will cut the single pieces or petals to form the flower:	- Ahora cortaré las piezas o pétalos únicos para formar la flor:

- Once the pieces are cut, we proceed to roll it on a toothpick that I made with the same material, for this I will use white glue, then I will give it a basket shape, and I will fold the edges in the form of flaps:	- Una vez cordadas las piezas, procedemos a enrollarla en un palillo que hice con el mismo material, para esto usaré cola blanca, luego le daré la forma de una barquilla, y le doblaré los bordes en forma de solapas:

- This material, when wet, is somewhat flexible, which allows us to stretch it to mold the center and the edges:	- Este material, cuando esta húmedo es algo flexible, lo que nos permite estirarlo para moldear el centro y los bordes:

- An option to mold the material: We can use a small container, we place it in the center of the single petal and tie it, then we fold the edges and dry them with the dryer, then we remove the container and proceed to place the toothpick in the center of the petal, as we did in the previous procedure, using white glue:	- Una opción para moldear el material: Podemos usar un pequeño envase, este lo colocamos en el centro del pétalo único y lo amarramos, luego doblamos los bordes y los secamos con el secador, después quitamos el envase y procedemos a colocar el palillo en el centro del pétalo, como lo hicimos en el procedimiento anterior, usando cola blanca:

I am going to paint the cardboard with a green background, then I will splash it with a mixture of red and green paint and a few dots with blue, now I will gently pass the brush moistened with water to achieve various tones:

- Ahora, haré la base del cuadro, esto lo haré usando un pedazo de cartón de caja, el procedimiento es el siguiente: Cortaré el cartón con las medidas: 18 x 30 cms. El cartón lo voy a pintar con un fondo verde, luego lo salpicaré con una mezcla de pintura roja y verde y unos puntos con azul, ahora le pasaré suavemente el pincel humedecido con agua para lograr varios tonos:
