Hoy vengo a participar en el concurso semanal de la comunidad HIVE DIY, la temática de esta semana fue la primavera.
Así que me animé a realizar esta corona de flores hecha de papel de seda.
Los materiales que utilicé fueron:
- Papel de seda amarillo
- Papel de seda aguamarina
- Papel de seda anaranjado
- Elástica fina
- Hilo y aguja de coser
- Tijeras

Today I come to participate in the weekly contest of the HIVE DIY community, this week's theme was spring.
So I decided to make this wreath made of tissue paper.
The materials I used were:
- Yellow tissue paper
- Aquamarine tissue paper
- Orange tissue paper
- Thin elastic
- Sewing thread and needle
- Scissors
Lo primero que haremos será recortar tiras de papel de seda para sacar las flores.
Cada tira de aproximadamente 15 cm de largo las vamos a doblar en forma de acordeón.
The first thing we will do is cut out strips of tissue paper to make the flowers.
Each strip of approximately 15 cm long we are going to fold them in an accordion shape.
Luego, recortaremos los extremos de la forma que nos guste, yo las hice en picos.
Amarramos con un pedazo de hilo en el centro y apretamos para que no se suelte la flor, y comenzamos a abrir los dobleces para darle forma.
Then, we will cut the ends in the shape we like, I made them in spikes.
Tie a piece of thread in the center and tighten it so that the flower does not come loose, and begin to open the folds to give it shape.
De esta forma haremos varias flores, alternando los colores y las coseremos a la elástica, una tras otra.

Finalmente, unimos los extremos de la elástica con una costura fuerte. Y listo!
