Mi AMOR en cartón
Un saludo a todas mis queridas amigas y amigos de esta maravillosa comunidad creativa, hoy vengo supe emocionada para participar en el Nuevo concurso: Mundo de cartón. Ganadores del concurso anterior.
Les confieso que apenas vi de qué trataba el concurso se activaron todas mis energías para buscar algo que no solo me sirviera para participar en el concurso sino también que me fuera útil para otras ocasiones. En este caso busqué la palabra AMOR para decorar la mesa de cumpleaños de mi sobrina Emily quien pronto cumple la mayoría de edad y me parece un lindo detalle para colocar sobre alguna mesa.
Materiales que vamos a utilizar:
- cartón grueso
- cartulina -periódico
- pinturas al frío
- cúter - tijeras
- adhesivo
- silicón
- molde de letra
Paso a paso
Lo primero que vamos hacer es buscar un patrón de letra que se acople a lo que tienes pensado hacer; en internet puedes conseguir un montón de diseños y el tamaño es a tu elección.
Luego que tenemos el molde hecho lo traspasamos al cartón y cortamos dos caras de cada letra con el cúter o exacto. Retiramos las imperfecciones con la tijera, para que se vea más prolijo el trabajo.
Ahora vamos a unir las caras, pero para debemos colocar una separación entre ellas con cilindros de papel o vasos plásticos pegados con silicón.
A continuación vamos a colocar la tapa lateral hecha con cartulina y pegada con adhesivo. Por suerte tenía guardada una cartulina de esas que traen los juegos de sabanas, corté a medida y fui uniendo paso a paso.
Paso a seguir es pegarle papel periódico o revista por todos lados, Para eso hice una mezcla de pega blanca con agua, con la ayuda del pincel fuimos agregando pega por encima y por abajo del papel.
Resultado final
Espero que les haya gustado, en verdad me gustó mucho realizar este proyecto y para que vieran más o menos como es la idea que tengo para decorar la mesa del cumpleaños de mi sobrina, tomé la imagen con las luces y las telas y ahora me gusta mucho más la idea.
Estas letras se pueden decorar mucho más o se me ocurre colocarles flores de papel o bañarlas de escarcha y muchas cosas, todo queda a la imaginación de cada quien.

My LOVE in cardboard
Greetings to all my dear friends of this wonderful creative community, today I am very excited to participate in the New contest: Cardboard World. Winners of the previous contest.
I confess that as soon as I saw what the contest was about, all my energies were activated to look for something that would not only be useful for me to participate in the contest but also for other occasions. In this case I looked for these LOVE letters to decorate the birthday table of my niece Emily who will soon come of age and I think it is a nice detail to place on a table.
Materials we'll be using:
- thick cardboard
- cardboard -newspaper
- cold paints
- cutter - scissors
- glue
- silicone
- letter mould
Step by step
The first thing we're going to do is find a font pattern that fits what you're planning to do; you can get a lot of designs on the internet and the size is up to you.
After we have the mould made we transfer it to the cardboard and cut out two sides of each letter with the cutter or exacto. We remove the imperfections with the scissors, to make the work look neater.
Now we're going to join the faces together, but to do this we need to put a gap between them with paper cylinders or plastic cups glued with silicone.
Next we are going to place the side cover made of cardboard and glued with adhesive. Luckily I had some of the cardboard that comes with a set of sheets, I cut it to size and joined it step by step.
The next step is to glue newspaper or magazine all over, I made a mixture of white glue with water, with the help of the brush we were adding glue above and below the paper.
Final result
I hope you liked it, I really enjoyed making this project and so you could see more or less how is the idea I have to decorate my niece's birthday table, I took the image with the lights and the fabrics and now I like the idea much more.
These letters can be decorated much more or I can think of placing paper flowers or bathing them with frosting and many other things, everything is up to the imagination of each one.
