Hello, beautiful community of Hive Diy, this time I tell you that I was excited to learn because I had found the reason to complete a pending project for my daughter, then I made some hooks with donuts, I told my daughter she all happy, at first did not understand much just wanted to help me, but after seeing the step by step, she was delighted.

Materiales:

  1. Fieltro (varios colores)
  2. Mostacilla (varios colores)
  3. Tijera
  4. Hilo
  5. Aguja
  6. Barra de Silicon
  7. 2 ganchos para el cabello
  8. Retaso de tull

Materials:

1 Felt (various colors)

  1. Mustard (various colors)
  2. scissors
  3. thread
  4. Needle
  5. Silicone stick (gun)
  6. 2 hair clips
  7. tull clamp

Paso a paso / Step by Step:

Step 1: Start by making the patterns are super simple, as they are donuts for ganchitos should be small, use the lid of a cold paint as a reference, I traced it on the paper, then make a circle in the middle, then we draw a flower of 5 petals, do not worry it should not be perfect how will be the icing and he is drained, it does not have a specific shape, just make sure it is the right size for the donuts, this way I already have my pattern, I use the pattern to draw two donuts would be 4 pieces, and two pieces for the icing, the pieces vary according to the amount of hooks you want.

Step 2: In this step we will cut out the circles that we have traced, taking into account the middle circle of the donuts.

Step 3: Next we are going to mark the pattern of the flower, with the help of the scissors we cut out two pieces on the felt, in my case I used fuchsia felt and a brown one to simulate the chocolate icing.

Step 4: It's time to start assembling the pieces, so let's bake the donuts all around the edge with the scallop stitch which is used to give that subtle touch to the sewing works and besides being quite easy to sew

Step 5: Once finished sewing the entire edge we proceed to sew the middle circle, before we must fill with wadding or any other filling you have at home, the idea is that it is filled but not too fat, after placing the filling we start sewing with the same stitch festoon stitch. Follow the photo

Step 6: Now it's time to decorate the icing, follow your instinct, you can place clay, beads, even thin strips of brown felt and it will look like chocolate, it is important that if you are going to place clay or beads, I recommend in any case sew, first for the safety of the child if she takes it to her mouth, and second because it will last longer than glued, I show you how mine are looking.

Step 7: In this step we only have to join the pieces already made, we glue the icing with hot silicone, this way we make sure that it will not come off.

Step 8: Now we need less, so we made a base for the crochet hooks, I had at home a scrap of black fabric, so I traced with a cap of a capsule so that it was smaller than the doughnuts, two circles.

Step 9: Then we are going to elaborate with the tulle a base to give a better appearance to the donuts, cut two 30cm strips of fuchsia and frosted tulle, then sew with a basic stitch as it is quite fast and allows us to wrinkle, after wrinkles sew both ends to make a circle, see in the photo:

Step 10: At this stage we only have to join pieces again, we make sure to glue them with hot silicone, then we start with the black base, then the tulle and finally the donut.

Step 11: We only need to glue the hooks with hot silicone on the black base and we will have some original hooks with donuts, I have also done this technique with a headband and making a different design with the donuts.

So far my idea I hope you liked it, I show you how I look in the headband with my favorite model my daughter.
