Es bien sabido que desde hace un tiempo para acá, las fiestas infantiles son diseñadas bajo un tema o motivo preferido por los niños cumpleañeros. Así que los papás se ponen en marcha para complacer a los pequeños. En esas mismas estuve yo, por muchos años, con mi hijita. Ahora, soy una tía consentidora y hago lo posible por satisfacer los deseos de mis amados sobrinos. En esta ocasión, a Nicole, como ya he venido comentándoles en mis publicaciones anteriores. Estoy preparando para ella los detalles decorativos para su cumpleaños. Ella cumple 9 añitos el 24 de agosto y comprende que no se puede hacer una fiesta como la de años anteriores, pero quiere invitar a sus cuatro amiguitas del edificio donde vive para ver una película y picar el pastel.
It is well known that for some time now, children's parties are designed under a theme or motif preferred by the birthday children. So, the parents set out to please the little ones. I was in the same situation for many years with my little daughter. Now, I am a spoiled aunt and do my best to satisfy the wishes of my beloved nieces and nephews. This time, Nicole, as I have been telling you in my previous posts. I am preparing for her the decorative details for her birthday. She turns 9 on August 24 and understands that she can't have a party like in previous years, but she wants to invite her four little friends from the building where she lives to watch a movie and nibble on cake.
Recuerdo que el año pasado ella me pidió que le regalara el dibujo de un unicornio y que quería que su fiesta de este año fuera con ese motivo. Pueden ver su carita tierna aquí.
I remember last year she asked me to give her a drawing of a unicorn and that she wanted her party this year to be with that motif. You can see her cute little face here.
Para mi participación en el concurso, les comparto lo que serán los regalitos de salida para las niñas. Son unos tiernos unicornios elaborados con mucho cariño y dedicación y que rellenaré con caramelitos y una sorpresita que irá dentro.

Hojas blancas

Tijeras
Silicón frío

Blotting paper tubes

White sheets
Ruler
Scissors
Cold silicone
Markers
Con todos los materiales a mano, nos disponemos a cortar con el cutter, con mucho cuidad, los tubos de papel secante o papel de cocina por la mitad.
With all the materials at hand, we cut with the cutter, very carefully, the tubes of blotting paper or kitchen paper in half.
Luego, ponemos silicón líquido por el borde inferior y por el cuerpo del tubo hasta el borde superior. Antes de que se seque, pegamos la hoja blanca y envolvemos con ella todo el tubo de papel, tratando de que quede un acabado liso y pulcro.
Then, we put liquid silicone on the lower edge and on the body of the tube up to the upper edge. Before it dries, we glue the white sheet and wrap it around the paper tube, trying to get a smooth and neat finish.
Después que pegamos la hoja blanca para empapelar el tubo, esperamos que seque un poco y, mientras tanto, recortamos todas las piezas que necesitamos para armar la tierna carita de este unicornio tan famoso y que le encanta a la mayoría de las niñas.
After we glued the white sheet to paper the tube, we waited for it to dry a little and, in the meantime, we cut out all the pieces we needed to assemble the cute little face of this unicorn so famous and loved by most little girls.
Saqué el cuernito en foamy escarchado de color dorado, las orejitas en blanco y el centro en foamy escarchado en fucsia. Hice las florecitas y le puse una piedrita brillante de bisutería y con el marcador negro de punta fina le dibujé los ojitos con pestañas.
I made the little horn in gold frosted foamy, the little ears in white and the center in fuchsia frosted foamy. I made the little flowers and put a shiny rhinestone and with the black fine tip marker I drew the little eyes with eyelashes.
Así quedaron estos unicornios para los regalitos de salida de las niñas que acompañarán a Nicole a celebrar su cumpleaños.
This is how these unicorns turned out for the little girls who will accompany Nicole to celebrate her birthday.
Le ofrecí, también, hacerle una mini piñata de unicornio. Así que más adelante me dedicaré hacérsela, todavía tengo unos días antes del día soñado de mi Nicoleta del mar, como le digo cariñosamente.
I also offered to make her a mini unicorn piñata. So later I will dedicate myself to make it, I still have a few days before the dream day of my Nicoleta del mar, as I affectionately call her.
