Hola Hivers Creativos, les cuento que aquí en mi país Venezuela estamos en temporada de CARNAVAL 2021 y esto me motiva a presentar una forma sencilla y practica de crear un antifaz para estas fiestas. Algunas personas generalmente lo compran y eso es válido obteniéndolo en las tiendas con variedad de diseños muy bonitos y adaptados a cada ocasión.
Hello Hivers Creativos, I tell you that here in my country Venezuela we are in CARNAVAL 2021 season and this motivates me to present a simple and practical way to create a mask for these holidays. Some people usually buy it and that is valid getting it in stores with a variety of very nice designs and adapted to every occasion.
En lo personal yo los hago se me hace más atractivo por varias razones:
Personally, I make them more attractive for several reasons:
- Puedo adaptarlo a mi gusto o personalizarlo agregándole los detalles que desee. (Elementos de poco peso, lentejuelas, plumas, pintura, bordados líquido, otros).
- I can adapt it to my taste or customize it by adding the details I want (light weight elements, sequins, feathers, paint, liquid embroidery).
Ahorro mi dinero para otras cosas.
I save my money for other things.
Puedo reciclarlo.
I can recycle it.
Puedo realizarlo cuando desee para cualquier ocasión.
I can make it whenever I want for any occasion

Materilales || Materials:
Regla, lápiz, tijera, pega, cartulina bristol u otra un poco más dura de fácil corte, puede usarse foami.|| Ruler, pencil, scissors, glue, bristol board or other cardboard that is a little harder and easy to cut, foami can be used.
Tome el listo de cartulina de 20 cm x 10cm, uní el extremo derecho con el izquierdo dividiéndolo a la mitad quedando en 10x10cm; por la parte que se dobla en una esquina dibuje un arco desde el doble hasta el borde inferior, desde ese punto realice una línea continua curva, que puede ser una línea irregular distribuyéndola por los bordes con cierta distancia a los margenes.
Take the 20cm x 10cm cardboard list, join the right end with the left one dividing it in half, leaving 10x10cm; on the part that folds in a corner draw an arc from the double to the lower edge, from that point make a continuous curved line, which can be an irregular line distributing it along the edges with a certain distance to the margins
La medida puede variar dependiendo para quien se haga el antifaz, si es para una persona de rostro ancho las medidas deben ampliarse, si es para un niño entonces se acortan los centímetros.
The size may vary depending on the person for whom the mask is made, if it is for a person with a wide face the measurements should be enlarged, if it is for a child then the centimeters are shortened.
Con la tijera corte todo ese borde y el arco que es el lugar donde se coloca la nariz.
With the scissors cut all that edge and the arch that is the place where the nose is placed.
Para hacer la separación y apertura de los ojos: Doble a la mitad uniendo extremo superior con el inferior, desde el doble inicial medí dos centímetro hacia adentro marcando con un punto y a partir de allí medí 3,5cm más, marcando esa otra medida.
To make the separation and opening of the eyes: Fold in half joining the upper end with the lower end, from the initial double I measured two centimeters inward marking with a point and from there I measured 3.5cm more, marking that other measure.
Realice una curva o (U) uniendo las medidas de 0cm al 3,5 cm, y corte ese contorno quedando ya la apertura de los ojos lista, eso pedazos lo integre y pegue en la parte superior del antifaz.
Make a curve or (U) joining the measures from 0cm to 3.5 cm, and cut this contour leaving the eye opening ready, these pieces integrate it and glue it on the upper part of the mask.
Listo mi antifaz decidí decorarlo con marcadores aplicando líneas ya que me encanta trabajar con ellas haciendo figuras abstracta e irregulares, por el reverso le coloque una varita con cinta adhesiva, aunque bien podría colocar un par de ligas en los bordes para colgar el antifaz tras las orejas o con un listo, pero en este caso decidí hacerla más al estilo carnavales de Venecia.
Ready my mask I decided to decorate it with markers applying lines as I love working with them making abstract and irregular figures, on the back I placed a wand with tape, although I could well place a couple of rubber bands on the edges to hang the mask behind the ears or with a ready, but in this case I decided to make it more in the style of Venice carnivals.
Aquí mi antifaz de carnaval 2021 espero les guste y se atrevan a realizarlo... les cuento que hacerla con los niños resulta una actividad bien divertida, didáctica, recreativa y económica.
